Could you explain a bit more? I'm confused as to what you mean.

Well if you don't have Crazy Hand, why include two Master Hands in an event instead of Classic Mode?

Do you think there will be a point where you will be able to stop updating Beta and concentrate on 1.0? Are you doing both or is everyone on the team still focused on getting Beta fully working?

What happened to the old menu music? Was it replaced by the new one or is it an alternative?

Which stages from 0.9b were removed and why? Are any of the removals temporary?

It was upgraded to the version currently used. However, it "lives on" in Menu (NES Mix), which was directly based on 0.9's Main Menu BGM.


Stages that were removed were almost always removed due to issues with hazards, layouts, or overall problems that prevented them from being in an usable state. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, they should return in future updates.


Placeholder things are fun . I believe it was added there by TSON so Classic would fail gracefully if it couldn't find a pixel art to load. Of course, it was not meant to be seen, but thanks for catching it as we can get to fix it.

Two questions:

1. Why doesn't Lakitu save you from falling anymore?

2. Where does Menu (NES Mix) play?

Is there any relation of the removed stages and the moved music? Silph Co's song plays on Saffron City, and there's a new Skyloft song on Temple. These make it seem like those 2 past stages were cut as opposed to just temporarily removed.

Seems a bit odd considering all the effort that went into those stages in the past, but then again, Galaxy Tours happened...

It's actually really important for me to know if the unlockable content for Beta will remain secret in any future update (not counting patches) or as with the "demo introduction tradition", will be made starter in the following update. The huge plethora of secret content confuses me.

1)Lakitu has been reworked to his Smash Bros. AT incarnation.

2) I -think- on Waiting Room but tbh I'm not 100% sure?



As you may know certain stages are currently not in the game due to a variety of reasons. Sometimes music tracks had already been completed and instead of wasting them we moved them to other stages. Wether that is permanently or temporarily, we can't comment on.
