Nechis looked over at the group, a curious look on his face. They looked so different from each other. 'Had they been together for long?' he pondered as he zoned out. 'They've already made bonds. They seem to know each other. How can such a mismatched group of people wind up traveling together, and fighting together?' He kept thinking, and decided that if he was to stay with the group, he would need to ask about their origins.

"Let's try to find a cave."

He overheard someone say something to another in the group. 'I should probably find shelter too.' he thought, and began to pack up his small amount of possessions.

Charisma was still lacking the words to comfort him. She stayed silent for a moment, before speaking. "It'll be all right.." She told him. I wonder what could be so bad that he just bursts into tears like that...

Black King was about to shake his head, but then looked at Serene. He felt that she needed to be in a good shelter, even if it meant he had to be guided by a random man. He finally nodded, showing no objections to Eton's idea.

"I......had....a very bad....experience as a child...after my mother died....I shouldn't had brought it up before....I tend to have bad dreams that shake me to my core when I talk about it." Julius said as he began to calm himself.

Eton wasn't in the sky for a minute before finding a nearby cave, probably the same one the Snie was using. He waved in the air to signal the group over and landed by the entrance. The cave didn't go in very deep and appeared to be safe enough. Tekun followed holding Tara in his arms, hoping Tania, Rana and Nechis would do the same.

Eton took himself and Serene off the mount and he placed her in the caved, doing what he did before. He had to get a fire going now.

"There there.." She told Julius. "It's all right. That's all the past. Try not to think of it." She patted the man on the back as she said this, trying to comfort him. So that's it... His mother was died, and he get's dreams about it.

Serene opened her eyes, and looked around. She saw that they were in a cave, and was confused. She tried sitting up, but it hurt too much, so she just lied back down. She saw Eton, "What's going on? Why are we in a cave?" she asked him, in a tired and weak voice. She looked around for Black King, and motioned for him to come to her side.

"Tonight's shelter, don't try to move around. Your still pretty beat up, I applied bandages and medicine already, I need to see about getting a fire going though, that way none of us feeze to death." Eton said rumaging through the large bag Rungo had given them. Thankfully, the White wolf leader had thought ahead and given them dry tinder and a torch, as well as a few stone. Which would explain some of the weight. Eton took out the stones and laid them in a circle and then dug a small indention and put the tinder in it. All that would be left to do is to light it, and that would be they're warmth for tonight. After this, they wouldn't have enough for another. All the bag would have is food and some medicine, only two left.

Tekun came in to the cave and placed Tara down, against the wall, using his own supply bag as a pillow and cloak as a planket, sitting next to her. He took out what he had left in his bag, a bag of medicine, food, his own canteen of water and tinder. He took his out and threw it to Eton.

"Extra for tonight." He said and looked at Tara who was still asleep.

Julius stopped sobbing, he felt a little better with the comforting.

"I know...but....afterwords...I...I just get so upset about it. She was taken due to sickness and then this lord just came and whisked me away. And...." Julius stopped and closed his eyes. "I'll try and stop. I...I can't be bothering you with this."

Serene sat up and winced at the pain. She didn't like feeling weak, and never admited it, even if she did actually feel weak inside. "I'm fine, Eton. These wounds don't hurt that much anymore." she told him, lying through her teeth. "I can't look weak in front of everyone. Then I'll seem like extra weight, and I don't want to burden them too badly" she thought, the pain building up inside.

Charisma looked at Julius. "No no, it's fine. Really. You need to talk, get this off your chest a bit." She said to him. "Don't worry, I'm a good listener." She smiled a bit as she said this.

"After my mother died, I was taken in by a noble who showed intrest in me......my father....was a warrior...of some acceptional...skill." Julius said wiping his mind. "He showed...no interest in anything but working and training me. It was harsh treatment, I hated it. After so many years and a near death experience. I left. I can't forget what happened, it haunts me yet."

"Oh.. I see." Charisma said to him. "Must have been rough." She didn't know what else to say. She was tying hard to comfort him, especially after all he did. Nearly dying for her. "There weren't any good times?" She asked.

"No..." Julius stated. "It was like my own personal little hell. After about three years, i got up and fled, with what little I had. No education, very little skills. My mother was always sick, so she couldn't do much and my dad abandoned me when young. I...ended up becomign a mercenary, despite desting fighting."

Eton stopped what he was doing and rushed over to Serene.

"Serene, please, don't be headstrong." He pleaded. "I..I don't want you to get hurt." He said kneeling next to her. Tekun got up and lit the torch almost effortlessly and then lit the tinder, getting the fire going. "We should be good for tonight now." He said. Eton looked over a nodded in acknoledgement and then back at Serene.

"It's been rough on you. Most of us are injured. Take a load off your back and rest." He said with a smile.

Serene took her time, but eventually finished thinking. "All, right. I'll rest for the time being." she said, lying back down. She smiled a little. "He does care about me...more than a friend would...maybe I'll ask...just maybe..." she thought, closing her eyes, and falling asleep again.

Black King stood around, staring at Windy with intense hatred. Once again, he felt the anger he felt when he was in the presence of other pegasi. He never truly fit in with the others, as he wasn't a pure pegasus. He was in fact a crossbreed between a stallion and a pegasus.
