Charles shook his head, wondering what it was. "Better take it with us, might be of use." He suggested, his greed made that sound like a good idea. "Better yet, though, what happened to this guy?" He asked, scratching his chin.

She handed the cashier her notepad and pen "Hi I'm Officer Smith and this is Kevin. I'd like to ask you a few questions and then investigate your shop afterwards. What do you know about Mr. Avery?"

Charles slowly reached out to take the metal object, holding on to it tightly with a handkerchief and pocketing it. "Excellent idea!" He praised his partner, turning away and dashing towards the library.

"Oh I'm sorry" she showed him her badge "Allow me to introduce myself, I am Officer Smith, but you can call me Julie" she said with a smile. "So did you know Mr. Avery? What was he like?"
