not an upvote/downvote system because there'd effectively be no way to downvote a post

but i think just a like button underneath posts (if you've been on smashboards they have a really clean and simple one) would actually be pretty good. in the past i've thought it was kind of pointless but really it would absolutely cut down on the pointless 'yeah same' or '+1!!' posts that people feel the need to do, and there are i think times where you want to express agreement with a post but don't have much to meaningfully add to the conversation. idk tell me what you think like comment and subscribe if you liked the suggestion

I support this suggestion and would use this feature, but I'm not sure how feasible it is to implement.

I've browsed a forum that had that and the amount of "Um, why the hell did you dislike this Andy, what's your problem?" and "Can you ban that guy? He's just going through & disliking pages of posts from everyone that disagrees with him" is admittedly hilarious but ultimately depressing
