Hello, when I was on the McLeodGaming Archive Forums awhile back, I've noticed that there were SSF demos that were on the site.

I wanted to try to download them but I was using the internet Archive website to see them.

I PM'd Cleod9 about this but he didn't uploaded it since (he's a busy guy so that's okay and not that I want him to do it ASAP)
but it would be great to play the demo seeing how much time he spent working on it.

I tried doing that, but no luck. Plus I'm pretty sure that if there were download links at this point of time, they would be obsolete.

Are you talking about the original SSF1 demo? I only think I made one or two versions of it as far as I can remember, if it's something you're really interested in I don't mind digging it up

Sorry for the bump, but I just realized that TCRF has a page for Crusade. If/whenever this thing happens, it may be an idea to make a page on it there. Actually, we don't even have a SSF2 page yet. Perhaps when v1.0 is released and the game becomes more concrete, I'll write one myself.

I'd imagine it's because apparently some things were leaked before they were announced as they were present in previous versions.

That does seem like a good idea. Though we'll have to make a distinction between Beta content (In a previous demo and later removed) and things that were announced but never programmed, like old roster; I call the latter "Omega content" for the sake of brevity. The devs are pretty insistent on separating the two.

I'm still interested in those SSF1 demos, by the way.

It'd be kinda cool having an SSF1 page there (I'd have to go digging around the old files though to really get some good details). I think it's a bit early for SSF2 to have one though.

Anyway, thanks for the bump, I should be able to set up some sort of static page for the original SSF1 demo soon. The question is, where to put it? (right now I'm thinking as a link inside the SSF1 box on the games page)
