I would like to continue my higher studies in information technology and I am interested in programming. I want to start from easy programming language.
Which is the easy language for a beginner?

For me, I did Visual Basic before i jumped onto C++ and/or Java.

Visual Basic is basically the start of the road for programmers. It teaches you the basics effectively and in Java or C++, it'll help you understand the language in terms of standards (They're both completely different from each other but you'll understand some of C++/Java more effectively). Visual Basic is also a standard for Window-based applications.
