Without the internet, word wouldn't get around about cheats/glitches/tips/how to beat the game in the first place. You'd have to resort to your friends or send letters to the company that made the game, and that could take weeks. I would probably have never beaten Luigi's Mansion if not for a Youtube video showing how to turn the power back on.
Then there's the obvious lack of wi-fi play.

Thoughts?

Pokkén Tournament:
Weavile, Pikachu-Libre, Shadow Mewtwo
Looking forward to playing as the Sandbag in SSF2. Time for some Revenge to be dished out.

You don't seem to be aware that video games have existed for more than fifty years. Back when there was no internet, cheats/glitches/tips/how to beat and the like were found in gaming magazines or specificially designed game guides, and why do I say "were"? nowadays gaming magazines and game guides still exist.

The Souls series would be quite a bit less special

I wouldn't have been able to spoil myself for games like Smash and Kingdom Hearts. The amount of pure joy I got when I played Melee as a kid and Mewtwo randomly challenged me was unreal. I wish I didn't spoil myself on so much, but it's just rather difficult nowadays.

it's a good thing too because the ones that don't come over are often not that great
and if they ARE that great we will have people patch them eventually

I had like 6-7 years.

Diary of Dreams, a fan game made by game developer Kikiyama. Goes aroung a Hikikomori girl named Madotsuki that lives in an apartment and can't get out (or refuses to get out) from her room. All she can do is dream, and inside her Dream World she interacts with many strange things and beings.
The game lacks a full story but it's fun to make theories about what is going on in Madotsuki's mind. I tought you knew about that game because it popularized with a venezuelan youtuber named Shadow27682. Here's a link to his video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6QuSYD54OB4 esta en español but it's worth checking out
Thegameis pretty easy to find. It's a pretty hard game f you don't know what to do.
