Okay, call me stupid, but who is that 2P in the picture? I recognize 1P as being Samus in the morph ball, but that 2P... is it also Samus? Is it Wii Fit Trainer?

You're not stupid, I have no idea who that is either. And whoever it is they apparently leave a specteral smoke trail when they go flying. Dark Samus has the greatest resemblance IS an assist trophy, but assists usually can't be hurt and there is no one else on the stage... Who the hell is that...?

Samus looked like a mushroom to me and I thought that was ZSS or Lucario who was p2, but I could be wrong. _________________

I wonder if those paddles are gonna act as walls, or are they actually gonna knock characters back toward the center of the stage when touched.
To the question of who the second player is, i thought it was a Pokemon at first, but upon closer inspection, im not so sure anymore. I thought it might have been Greninja or something. Its probably Zero Suit Samus.

I'm fairly certain it's Zero Suit Samus. It's a pretty awkward pose. I'm sure it looks acrobatic and fluid in motion, but in a still shot and from this distance it just looks weird. To be totally honest, my first thought was that it was Fi somehow.
And I do love the attention to detail, even on kinda dumb things like this. Pong is a cool a** idea for an assist trophy.

He can draw water from the sacks on his arms and legs but not turn into water. Also yeah it's Zamus her Dspec, as previously seen in another screenshot with the Wii Fit Trainer; what might throw you off is the afterimages the move now creates, from distance it looks like a being with multiple apendages.

People on Miiverse are saying that that giant shadow on the floor is Ridley's. What do you guys think about that? I personally think that shadow is way too big even for him (plus, his shadow was much smaller in the direct). Are the guys on Miiverse just being stupid again?
