I forgot who said it but, (this goes with every character but is really emphasized with Bayo) she'll only go as far as people will take her. She's easily top 10, but she still needs to be perfected.

Thats part of it tho. She's barely been optimized, yet she's already shown incredible potential and already (arguably) has the best combo game in today's current metagame. From where things are going, Bayo's presence in the meta will only increase. Will she be as dominant as brawl MK or melee spacies? Only time will tell. I personally dont think she will ever become that dominant, but I do think she has the potential to be ranked #1 in the future once her meta starts to REALLY develop

I also agree characters that require skill are bad if you aren't good with them. After all, any game that has ever had a hard to use character has proved that in reality, they were never any good at all.

Because a character I personally can't learn properly is definitely not gonna be top tier guys.

It's not that I don't understand her I understand how she works and I can do pretty well with her but the fact that she has a bad nuetral and that she has too much lag on her moves I don't think that makes her an Amazing character even when you understand how to use her properly and get around that. I can see her being high tier though but not in the same tier that rosa shiek and ZSS are.

Yeah she totally has a bad neutral when she has ways to get around shields, Mike please actually go play the character before making baseless statements.

Bayonetta does have a bad neutral though, and if she's top tier, she won't be the only one with a s*** neutral

I have played the character that was not a baseless statement. I was not implying that she didn't have ways to get around shields. That still doesn't mean that she has a good nuetral.

I wouldn't call her neutral s*** at the most I'd call it odd.

She does have s*** neutral but everything else is really good so...

ZSS's nuetral isn't the greatest but not as bad as bayo's. She has more moves that are safer and she has better kill options.



Everything else aside from her grabs she also doesn't have a reliable kill throw. Or reliable kill moves aside from her back air or dair.

EDIT: I think what I might do is make link some gameplay videos that I do on smash 4 cause I do want to show y'all some of the characters I use. Only problem though is that the replay only can go up to 3 minutes.

you can't, but with some characters (like Bayonetta) you can B-reverse your up special safely, and with others you can B-reverse your other specials
