This is a first attempt. Comments welcome.
Name: Sparrow (you could guess this one)
Gender: Male
Race: Most definitely human
Age: Unknown (explanation in bio), probably in mid 20's
Personality: Sparrow is a shy person, perfering to stay quiet and let others do the talking and action. He only fights or acts when backed into a corner, and then reluctantly. It gets to the point where he's willing to sit there and die because of reluctance to fight.
Appearance: Sparrow wears what was once probably a set of well-made leather clothes, but is worn and scuffed from traveling, although has extremely few, if any, tears. The top of his head is covered with messly light-brown hair, but most people tend to look at the large cloth blindfold over his eyes. His body is tall but slim and compact, like he is prepared to run at the first thought of danger. He isn't very bothered by cold, and during winter he rarely puts extra clothing on. In extreme cold situations, though, he'll pull on a coat/thick jacket as worn as the rest of his body.
Bio: As a young boy, Sparrow lived an innocent, carefree life with his (older) sister and father until he was ten. As he went looking for a birthday present for his sister, bandits attacked the town where he was living. Although his family and town were completely destroyed, he survived due to the fact he was on the edge of town. Luck was not with him that day, however, and he was found by the bandit leader. The bandit leader was inpressed and decided to reward him...by cutting out his eyes and leaving him to die. As happens to all blind people, Sparrow's other senses heightened. However, he unexpectedly acquired a new sense, one people called the sixth sense. He got feelings and impressions, nothing solid, but enough to allow him to survive. As he grew, these impressions became stronger, to the point where he was accused of sorcery and forced to leave the town he was at. Afterwards, he simply wandered wherever he felt like going.
Abilities: Gets feelings, the more stressful the situation, the more that come as a result of his blindness increasing his senses far more than ordinarily. He can fight with any bladed weapon decently (enough to survive) but isn't really good with any of them. He can also whittle wood well, a habit he discovered after watching his sister, who did it for a living.
That was more trying than I thought. Did I forget anything?
