Also, for those who were wondering who the 2 'left-over characters' were: Human Torch and Frank West. Frank West was cut due to problems already discussed, and Human Torch used too much space with his animations, but his model and supers were re-used for Super Skrull.

Plus they were probably told that the Human Torch would die before release.

You see, the problem with superhuman characters is, no matter how much they die, they always find a way to cheat back in life.

They're cancelling the whole series I think, so it's not looking too likely. Besides, it was a canon death and everything.

It's pretty awesome so far. My planned mains weren't as fun as I thought they'd be. My new team is Wesker, Deadpool and Wolverine.

No characters were taken out due to ram issues and whatnot, according to Seth Killian. (Source.) It is definitely more likely that they took Human Torch out only because Marvel told them to, due to those spoilers from earlier. Also, he couldn't have been taken out with Frank since he was replaced with Super-Skrull a while earlier (both Super-Skrull and Frank's model appeared in the Episode 2 trailer). It also doesn't explain why Dr. Octopus's name is in the game code.

But yeah, the game is fun. It's really simple to pick up and play, and combos are fairly easy to do. I haven't been able to try everyone out yet (only tried it out for an hour before work, and I can't buy it because I'd have to also buy a PS3 or 360 and I don't have money for that), but I did enjoy using MODOK and Skrull.

I'm not a fan of MvC, and I was upset to see Mega Man was out. But my whole life doesn't revole around Mega Man being absent in a video game.

Crap, I just played my first online match. We were equal the whole length and it got to the point where it was next hit wins....


His Zero was just too fast for my Deadpool. Now I think about it I should have got some distance and trigger Down Quarter Clockwise + Heavy but I had a split second.

Just got this for 360 a couple hours, and I'm loving it.

I'm still on the hunt for my third main. I'm pretty decent with Wolverine and Deadpool, but the third eludes me. The best I found so far is Wesker and Iron Man. But they're still weak in my hands.

On the plus side I won my first Ranked Match! It was super close though, his Ammy versus my Deadpool. We were at opposite sides of the stage and we both had about a pixel of health. The only reason I won was because Deadpool's guns beats Ammy's white fireball thing.

I can't win online. Seriously, f*** Pheonix and Sentinel

Considering Akuma is (In my opinion) the best character in this game (from what I've seen), you should have no problem. I have a combo with Akuma that kills Sentinel. It's X-factor and 1 meter, of course, but it does 1.5 Mil.

I was seriously suprised when I came along Deadpool saying that he defeated Mag-freaking-neato. That was really good.

Or coming along Deadpool saying that he was Magneto and welcomed his opponent to die.
