So, the endings are kinda like extra endings?
Also, can you explain the 5 support conversations a little more?

A unit can only have 5 conversations.

So lets say Joshua has an A support with Natasha and a B support with Innes. He has 3 conversations with Natasha (Their C, their B, and their A) and 2 with Innes (C and B)

Now lets say he has a B support with Natasha (2), a C support with Marisa (1) a C support with Innes (1) and a C support with Gerik (1) notice how that's still 5 conversations.
Now, this leads to more placing of who you want due to bonus, my advice is to have characters with similar movement supporting each other. Or again, if you just enjoy a pairing (which I so am not guilty of)

So, only 5 and that's it, huh?
I'll probably have the most support with a character that can go far distances.

Yeah, it's frustrating how one of your best characters die from an unexpected critical hit.

If you really hate it, I suggest trying Shining Force for the Genesis.

No offense, but this is the 3DS topic, not the Genesis.

Anyway, I nearly died when one of my allies was about to die, but the attack missed. Also, who are your favorite characters to use?

Mine are:
- Eirika. Well, her Rapier is deadly.
- Franz. I find him more useful than Seth in most situations.
- Lute. Her magic is useful when being paired with two other characters, kind of like a teamwork thing.
- Colm. He just looks plain cool attacking.
and finally
- Vanessa. She can transport healers more quickly, and her weapons allow for some damage, although she still needs someone else to attack in order to successfully hit without getting severely damaged.

I don't use Seth a lot, mainly because unlike you, Talesoffan, I usually like to level up everyone so they could all be useful in a situation (kind of like how I play in Tales of Symphonia).

My favorites are:

- Epharim. His lance skills do a lot of damage, and help in certain situations.
- Seth. He's like a god when it comes to attacking enemies and bosses.
- Eirika. Her Rapier mixed with that critical percentage...
- Garcia. His axe skills come in handy when fighting a sword wielder.

Seth- Godly tank, likes the first speed wing, then **** gets crazy. Can solo hard mode with him, agreed that he and Sigurd are the best characters in FE history.
Cormag- I'm well aware that Vanessa is "better" due to availability and such, but once he appears there is literally no reason to use her, he's strong, fast, and FLYING PONY DRAGON. So yeah, love how he's Vanessa but with stats
Joshua- That hat, nuff said
Ephariam- He's one of the best lords in the series, not Sigurd level, but damn.
Franz- A Seth who must be raised but to compensate has an amazing speed base and growth.
Duessal- A G. Nice Defense, good STR, doubles most units. Real life saver.
Gerik- He promotes into AnHero.

...just gonna leave that there.

Also, there IS a Fire Emblem topic on these boards. Just saying.

WTF, I'm like only on Ch. 8 or something.

For Lute, I get her along with Neimi and Vanessa to add damage, while Neimi starts off and Vanessa finishes. Well, that, and I like using the girls rather than the guys.

The bow wielders in my opinion can finish what you start, and are good attackers when it comes to attacking from a distance.

I suppose. Magic are more damaging, however, and javelins can finish it with more of a chance of death. Also, it gives room for all three to gain EXP. I'm thinking of making Neimi a Sniper instead of a Ranger.

Magic can help, but the magic wielders have low HP.
I don't use them too often only because of this.
Also, isn't the javelin weak against a variety of enemies?

Only if they have swords, I think. Also, Vanessa's Javelin does double hits, kind of like Eirika.

Bow wielders only have player phase to do stuff such as kill things. They have nothing to compensate for it, in fact, most have below average growths and need to be babied like hell to be of any use. I can think of 3 good archers in the whole series, none of whom are in the GBA FEs. Plus, units with 1 range can have 1-2 range weapons unlike bow users who only have 2 range, so they're outdone. FE4 had archers done right with having overkill skills, epic weapons, and huge maps helping their enemy phase to an extent. FE10 had it right with a Sniper who was amazing from the start, doubling, tanking, and killing.

TL;DR most archers suck the exceptions are the far and few and not in FE8.

Either way, they are still one of the few ranged attackers. The only others I have seen at the moment are Magic, Javelins, and Hand Axes.

Just finished chapter 12 and saved, but I killed Marisa...Is there anyway to go back to the chapter or do I have to restart the whole game to get gerik to talk to her and have her as ally?

And my favourite fighter will be seth.I could pratically just use him and finish a chapter just by using him.
Eirika-I used her a lot in early chapters, but now I put her in the back to not let her die(I noticed a typo in chapter 11 with eirika saying that her name was eirina)
Vannesa-I like her,but she's too weak
Joshua-He has high critical hit,but the name doesn't really suit him.

Now I think we really need a Fire Emblem topic,I'm seriously loving this franchise.
