After playing my friend's Falco in smash 4, I would say make fair the strength it has in 4 because it kills ridiculously early off stage in that game.

million dollar question because i'm bored af from school :chibirobo:

is starkiller whiffing that dair because:

A.) his lack of precision on that moment

B.) the sweetspot hitbox is too small

C.) it might be a combination of both eh

(I have noticed after watching his latest video a few times, that he may have inputted dair too early in 0:27, 2:23, and 2:31)

I'm just bad kappa

at the time of that recording, the meteor on the dair only lasted for a few frames. Now what it does is do the meteor for most of the move, with damage that scales down the longer the move is out (like fox's nair) with like the last third or so being the PAL knockback.

Okay so we can confirm Falco's down air is Brawl or is it PAL Melee?

I would say it is most similar to PAL dair. It's also never a spike.

I've been wondering after watching sk's vid and beta streams (s/o to TylerTm) how will falco players/mains follow up on Di away from shine and stil keep a combo going since fair has that launching hitbox at the end of 5-6 or so hits

Probably into a fast fall up air or fast fall nait or into a dair.

shine is faster and can be used midair compared to utilt, which has better kb for combos (as well as physics, since shine will stop you midair which can make followups on away DI harder)

shine is only going to get you so far, you'll want to use utilt as well (just keep in mind that there is always a tradeoff)

Does Shine get guaranteed followups at low percents against fast-fallers on good SDI and DI in SSF2?
