Well, the game was all the rage over here when it came out. I didn't get it because I was new to gaming and found anything with guns insta-boring (Though I still can't quite remember why exactly. They just did not interest me.) so I didn't bother. And does Shadow really get to kill Sonic in that game? Or just 'defeat' him? (I heard via word of mouth. I hold doubt over the kill, but one can never be to certain.)

I didn't think so. Actually, to tell the truth myself, I've never really played Shadow the Hedgehog either, but I've heard so much about it, that I know what to do and s***.
But in Sonic '06, Sonic dies. I was laughing like hell how he revived. Chaos Emeralds = God.

Sounds a wee bit over dramatic... Somebody needs to start a Master Emerald cult...

Sonic Colors I being made by the team behind the storybook games (Secret Rings and Black Knight) so your right about that. Unleashed came out in 08 and Sonic 4 obviously isn't going to be the big game from Sonic Team after waiting 2 years. Sonic's 20th anniversary is next year so we'll probably see the new main series game next year that is assuming Sega doesn't just count Sonic 4 Episode 2 as that...

Just because they delayed Sonic 4, and it's gonna come out this summer, I don't give a s*** about it anymore.

sonic 06 is so underrated. there were only 2 stages where you'd lose 2+ lives from the camera f*** up, otherwise i thought it was really good

I can usually tolerate bad Sonic games, I'd go as far as to say I enjoy alot of them. But Sonic '06 was just f*** unplayable.

Chao Gardens was one of the best ideas they could have had. I guess it was a very good idea to take them out of bad games, they would have gotten bad reputation.

I have to agree, the Chao Gardens were very boring. Even though I never played GHZ on SA2B, I just don't have the patience to do the Chao Gardens.

Chao Gardens...they're pretty much broken, what with the glitch on reusing the Small animals/Chao Drives... So yeah, it does get boring...
Unless Wi-Fi multiplayer and more extras... .... Inb4screwmultiplayer?

nobody has any legit problems with it other than the camera and silver being added. and i guess the furry-fanboy's-wet-dream ending. nothing else was that bad.

Actually, I've played Sonic '06 for like 5 minutes at a friend's house, and personally, I've enjoyed those 5 minutes. I was at this beach level where you had to run at top speed and everything was blurry, I've actually liked that. Until I've played Sonic '06, I'm gonna say at some parts Sonic '06 was quite fun except the ending.
