It's kind of a step below totem users. Totems are almost always invisible to regular people, though the fully-powered totem is strong enough to be seen by everyone. Animalium users have more freedom in that they can choose to make their creature visible to both people who can and cannot see spirits. In regards to your post, to kind of give the feeling of progress and development, Dot was visible to everyone. In most cases, when you call Dot, she will be visible to people or not depending on whether you want it to, though because you're still new to the ability there will be times when Dot will be visible when you don't want her to be, or she won't be visible to others when you want her to be. This will probably continue throughout this chapter and probably the next when I deem that enough time has gone by for Lotus to have gained a refined control over that particular aspect of summoning their familiar. _________________
