So I finished attack on titan, just episodes 1-25. Can someone tell me what the specials and ovas are? Do they continue where episode 25 left off, or what?

Also has there been confirmation of a 2nd season? I'm too lazy to google, and most of you probably have these answers anyway.

pointless episodes that felt like they should have been OVAs
a character infinitely more appealing than Rikka introduced just for forced drama s*** 10 episodes in

I'm starting to watch Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, I liked the first anime, so I guess it's more than obvious that I will like this one too.
And talking about starting to watch, one of my friends has been telling me for about a year now of this ''awesome'' and so ''incredibly amazing'' anime called Sword Art Online. He says that it is the best thing he has ever saw and stuff like that, I never gave that anime a hard thought, and since most of the MG community says it sucks I guess that it isn't worth it.
I just wonder, in a 1 to 10 scale, how bad Sword Art Online is?
1 being = ''Is not the best anime, but it isn't the worst either.''
10 being = ''IS DISGUSTING!!!! IF CRAP AND GARBAGE WOULD HAVE A CHILD IT WOULD BE THIS S&%# DISGUISED AS ANIME!!''

on that scale its a 7
there's a wide variety of problems with that anime, but the major one is the protagonist

I wouldn't call the first half terrible or anything, it's just that you could spend your time watching something much better

They are less painful ways to hurt your eyes, like staring directly at the sun or spraying hot acid over them.
And Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, you will like it even if you didn't watched the original anime. It's the exact adaptation of the manga with no fillers. What else could you ask?
