I know I made a thread to talk about how I can make a online match lag less and Tson answered (thx for responding ).

But after watching a live stream of ssf2 beta today, someone in the comments said, you get a lot less lag when you play in the waiting room stage.

I think it was the same person or someone else, they also said, if you don't move in waiting room while waiting for match to start, it will cause a lot less lag/bugs to happen.

I just tried this and either me and the person I played this with have really good connection to each other, or the method they said in chat actually works.

Looks like i'm be playing in waiting room a lot more from no one, I haven't tried tower of salvation yet though.

Idk if this 100% works for everyone but it at-least works for me, Also i'm not saying there's 0 lag, just saying it's probably a lot better than usually when playing on different stages.

Edit: Btw lately idk if anyone else is experiencing this but, now I can only play 1 game and then be stuck on loading screen forcing you to exit or wait till opponent disconnects. Is that because I play 3+ stocks and or timer is more than 4+ min?

Another Edit: Tried this again on training stage, so yeah this doesn't work all the time, so this could be wrong.

It's probably not a real fix, but I still keep stone-still in the Waiting Room for placebo/good-luck-ritual purposes since it actually was required in the earlier patches of 9b.

I also heard keeping quality settings down helps a lot too.
