as long as you don't end up trying to fuse two mallets to get what looks like a really cool mallet except it keeps the minus speed penalty from one of the mallets, sure

I imagine Ice Climbers Uprising as a speedy 3d racing game where you climb a mount to win the race.

I haven't played Uprising but it's one of the games on my list for when I get a 3DS. But do you think there will be moveset changes for Pit because of his weapons? (at least, I think there are weapons..)

Absolutely get Uprising, it's fantastic.

I'd be surprised if he doesn't get changes. He can do a s*** ton more stuff in this game than he ever could before.

Although I'd be satisfied with having a Dark Pit based on Uprising's weapons and leaving Pit as he was in Brawl

They dont really have to completely overhaul his moveset, just change a few things around. How many of Falco's attacks changed in animation and function from Melee to Brawl? Honestly, if they change his A attacks and keep his B attacks the same, it could still work out well. Or change his Final Smash since im pretty sure he doesnt use the Centurions in this game.

Also, I recommend Uprising as well. It does suck that there are a lot of people who are pissed off at the game simply because it delayed the development of the new SSB title (which was just announced at the time). I really don't condone their priority, but this game is a nice time waster to wait for the next SSB. Heck, it's the only other Nintendo game I know of with teching in it! The loads of different weapons also show diversity in how you play the game. Also, the online DOES in fact work. Actually, it more than works. It excels. There is little to no lag, if you exclude the possibility that there's an error on your end. Maybe they'll use that sort of server for SSB4 now. *wink wink*

Oh yeah, i forgot about that assist thing. Its been so long since i played the game, since it really didnt interest me as much as i thought it would. I didnt get to see everything in the game.

Also, you can totally tell that Sakurai still had SSB on his mind when making Uprising just by looking at the menus and the Idols.

True, though he has done that before, with Kirby Air Ride's menus looking similar to Melee's. Maybe he's starting a trend?
