Really? It was nice to just have people interpet what story there is behind the games, though some I would like to do without. And the other fanime had problems which I had in my other post. Too bad it wouldn't have someone like Buront or the Postman.

The teaser trailer credits had ZUN appearing somewhere in it. It was shown at Asobi Mach 3 or something like that, an itasha event that was covered by Sankaku Complex.

Way to fail at interpreting what he meant, dude~ I will make it blunt for you. The Touhou series is hardcore because it's a constant bullet hell f*** that can incite rage in an instant. He was not even attempting to talk for the entirety of gaming, merely the niche this genre has carved for itself.

Exactly. It's like making an American cartoon out of Berserk that would air on Cartoon Network, but is competently animated and written. A lot of the stupid people that watch Cartoon Network would act like they know about Berserk and a lot of s*** would be flung into the community.
Just like people who watch anime. Naruto was actually good until the anime came out. Then people started to dress like him and s*** and it became uncool pretty quickly.

You got a point. I can say I've seen more videos and read more doujins than have actually played the games. I beat one or two and have been indulging in the culture.
