Windy jumped onto her hind legs and shrieked in pain as the talons bit into her flesh. She flapped her wings wildly and stomped about wildly trying to get the bird of off her back, she kicked and bucked wildly neighing constantly.

"Look!" cried out Anna. A large demon was seen in the distance. "It's...it's...it's a demon! A demon!" She didn't give up hope but she immediately began to pray to the light hoping that the light would protect them and lead them through the battle. "We should alert everyone and get them out of the inn!" she said.

Tania ran towards Rana then paused, she was becoming exactly what she didn't want to become, a damsel in distress. Yes Rana would be the one to free her but this was her mind, whatever it was that was attacking her was on her territory, she could do whatever she wanted. She concentrated, "Why is my mind nothing but the ruins of an old castle?" she said. A pulse of energy shook through the world and the fallen castle was once again returned to what she felt was magnificent. "Ok Rana. I'm ready" she said.

Windy bucked and successfully knocked the bird away, damaging it even more. It flew around crookedly, one of it's wings injured to the point where it could barely fly. Eton drew his knife and ran at Euphemia and readied the knife he was in a posistion to strike her, despite his wound.

"Drop it." He ordered. "Drop your weapon." He said pointing his blade and then coughing again walking towards her yet.

"No time." Tekun said rushing at the strange creature. "We fight, support me with your magic." Tekun said running at the creature in his usual stance and manorisms.

Euphemia stood up and walked backwards. She held her hands in the air, as a sign of giving in. "Well, I wasn't expecting a fight like this...Rourky has already retreated, and I guess I should step down too..." she had the devilish smile on her face again. "...I'm not going to be the one finishing you off anyway..."

A figure came out from the brush towards the clearing, he was clapping. "Very good job Euphemia, you did succeed in maiming what seems like little Serene's guard...but you let yourself be noticed so easily. You didn't choose the right thing to say..."
The figure had now walked into the light completely, and it was Endoh Lefia.

Serene saw him and shuddered. "No...not him..." she muttered, beginning to cry.

Despite Eton's wound, he rushed upon hearing the sound of clapping. The women had given up, but he needed some leverage, he was going to hate himself for this, but he didn't have much of a choice. He began to run but then turned and grabbed Euphemia and held the knife at her throat. He made sure she felt the cold steel of it against her throat. A sign that he would kill her if things wouldn't go how he planned. Holding her tight, he moved forward.

"Get out of here bandit." Eton said. "We dealt with you once already. Leave in peace....or i'll....kill her."

Endoh laughed at the sight. "Honestly, no matter what happens, I'll kill you and Serene." He then turned his gaze to Euphemia. "Keep, your cool, it'll be over soon enough. I'll take care of the hawk for you." he turned after this and walked back towards the brush, his voice echoed as we walked away calmly. "I'll be back...with more bandits than you would like to see."

Euphemia looked at her captor, and smiled pleasantly, changing her mood completely. "I'm not bothered with what you will do to me, but this position is uncomfortable, you know. Maybe, a little more room would be nice..." she asked sweetly. "Once I'm free...I'll wring his neck..." she thought, maintaining her look.

Serene sat huddled in the clearing, holding the wound on her face. She was so close to dying, it was what she wanted, yet she was afraid at the same time. "I'm...confused..." she muttered, looking at Eton.

Eton closed his eyes for a second. "s*** s*** s***." He muttered to himself. He then reopened them to find his captive looking back at him.

"I'm not bothered with what you will do to me, but this position is uncomfortable, you know. Maybe, a little more room would be nice..."

"Drop the act, you'd kill me the moment you got a chance." Eton said closing his eyes. "At least be honest about it."

He paused for a moment.

"Serene, get over here, we need to leave."

As Violet rapped her her palm against the thin door, the loud clamour it made echoed throughout the building. The music did not stop, however, but changed pace. It began to creep up in a slow crescendo, indicating mystery and caution. It's as if the tune were asking for a password.

Lex slid the door closed, leaving Leon alone in the room. He opened his book to the 23rd page and began to recite a strangely coded passage. When he had repeated it twice, he began pacing the halls. Preston should have already made the preparations, but seeing as it's his lazy a**, I'll let him have a couple more minutes...

Serene hesitated, but stood up, and slowly walked towards Eton like a mindless zombie. She wasn't in the mood to run or walk fast. "I'm fine..." she muttered, still holding her hand to the wound on her face. She realized how close death was at that moment, but she wouldn't have enjoyed it

Eton backed up slightlyto the pegasus, still holding the women, the knife against her throat. "Serene, come on, we needto leave now. Before he gets back." He yelled with urgency and panic. "This is no ime to walk. I'm not letting either of us die. Not yet." His heart raced i was clear he was nervous afraid, pehaps a bit desperate as well.

Rana felt the change in Tania's mind and thought, how strange. It was certainly unusual for a person to have such powerful control; she had not removed her tormentor, but she had repaired damage.
He smiled and took her hand, and everything went black. Ho couldn't tell whether or not she was still deluded by her own soul, but it didn't matter for the moment. He wrapped shadows around her consciousness and they filtered into the cracks. He touched everything in her soul and purged it with his bizarre energy.
He fleetingly hoped she would forgive him for the intrusion.


The demon reared back. One of the things was running at him, brandishing a weapon or sorts. The things, the people, were common in this world, it observed as it prepared itself. Bring its hand down and sweeping it up, tiny pulsing tears appeared around its fingers. They shone violently white and purple and black and twisted constantly into themselves. Its magic was odd and unseen in this world, but the likelihood of necessity for it was low.

OOC: Would have posted sooner but I'm sick...anywho....

Violet took out her lute with a slight twitch, her eyes were void of life and emotion, it was like the song was speaking to her. She strummed a few notes in response to the melody that sang through the door to her ear.

Tania saw as her world faded into a black emptiness though she still felt the warmth of Rana's hand in hers, it comforted her. Her eyes fluttered and she felt the wind brush against her cheeks, she moved her head and felt that it was lying against the material of something soft, she looked up Rana was holding her and she had returned to the courtyard of the inn.

Anna ran after Tekun obeying his command. "Ok support" she reminded herself. Anna's body quivered with fear and excitement, unsure of whether they'd be able to defeat such a large demon by themselves. She kept the aura of light glowing into larger spheres of magic surrounding her hands. "Ready" she called out.

Upon Violet's sudden notes, the tune quickened its pace and gradually formed an anxious sonata. The end met with an abrupt stop as if slamming into a stone wall. The dead silence creeped its way back into the recesses of her head, allaying the mind's aria. An eternity flew by as she stood in the hallway, waiting for something to happen.

Eventually, the paper door slid agape just enough to view the room behind its indomitable walls. Each corner was adorned with century old flora and ancient architecture. The color scheme resembled that of a green and gold-brown chawan, with red mixed in certain places. Everything seemed to flow together, a steady river; the feng shui complimented perfectly. Looking down at the far end, a single woman sat upon her knees, a Chinese flute nestled in her lap.

"Welcome, sister..."

Lex stopped pacing and looked at his book once more.

"Alright, that should do it." He tapped the wall next to him and a passageway opened before him. He stepped inside and the door shut tightly. Darkness consumed him, aside from the small candles protruding from the walls. The atmosphere did not phase him as he ran through the corridor.

He came upon a grand room, much larger than the inn itself, obviously hidden by an illusion. Preston had always been a reliable man when it came to hiding precious valuables. Now it seemed he was in the business for black market negotiations. Not that it mattered too much to him. Everyone was entitled to their own free will.

The chamber was as impressive as it was massive. An early Roman theme was strewn throughout the place, pillars and all. It's ceiling and floor were a white marble, cracked in some places, but otherwise seemingly untouched. Several hooded figures stood at the alter near the middle of the room. The tallest spoke with an intimidating force.

"Hurricane, step forth and proclaim thy will."

Tekun leapt at the creature, only to find himself cut by it's claw and knocked back. An underestimation, he'd have to be more careful, lest he be killed. He hit the ground hard and leapt back up.

"s***." He muttered under his breath. He needed to kill it, for Tania's sake. With that, he launched another attack.

Julius, Charisma and Alice entered an inn, a safe one at that. No really shady characters, no one who looked like a problem causer, a true relief after all that had occured. Julius couldn't help but give a sigh of relief and smile.

Rana opened his eyes and hoped his plan had worked. Tania was awake. He smiled lightly, and let go of her hand. He wasn't sure what to do or say next, and he had been too occupied to notice the demon Tekun was fighting. He still was.


The creature hummed to itself. The man was certainly powerful for his type, and as the creature came closer air sizzled and popped against its skin. It hummed louder, and as Tekun leaped towards it it reached out with its hand and the lights bounced him away. It did not know for sure how death worked in this world, though it would take no chances. It also did not plan on devouring its enemy in a flash, like it had the assassin, whose considerable energy had lasted no more than a few minutes.


Gabriel peeked around the corner of the inn. There they were, fighting a giant. He shook his head. The group he had tailed was always doing these silly things... He found an extra knife in his pocket and sauntered towards the courtyard where there was the scary boy and the mean girl. He grinned, then frowned, then looked around for Lucifer. Lucifer always had advice on what to do.

Serene finally reached the Pegasus, and slowly let herself on. She looked away from Eton "I'm ready to go..." she muttered, holding on to the Pegasus. She felt horrible at the moment, she just wanted to kill herself and all her pain.

Jay turned to the man at the counter again, scratching his head. "So, how do you send these items?" he began to ask. "She only told me to give it to you, and you knew what to do."

The man looked at him with a smile. "Well, you see, we use this special transportation that teleports the item to the person intended." he answered. "It's really revolutionary. We call it T-Postage because we send it by teleporting."

Jay scratched his head. He didn't really understand what he meant, and thought it was magic. He didn't give a s*** about magic anyway, so he shrugged it off, and thanked the man as he left.
Opening the door to the building, he weaved back through the alleyway and reemerged in the middle of the town. "Whelp, I finished my business, better be heading off." he told himself, leaving the town.

The sword materialized in front of the Pegasus, and Euphemia recognized it immediately. She smiled, not wickedly, but happily. "Yes! He sent me the sword!~" she shouted happily. "Now my collection is a little larger!" She closed her eyes in glee and smiled again.
