Not that it's too hard, but a lot of the times it has an effect on how some of the phpBB mods work on the forums and could end up breaking things

In other words... is too hard to do without taking the risk of creating bugs ... I know this is highly unluckely cleod... but is there a way to give you "optional" skins to use in the forum?  I remember seing this in other forums, and it was cool. Every user would the posibility to change the skin in the "control panel", soeveryone could have a skin of their like. I think you could choose:
I know that it would imply hell of work (and probably it is not worthy the time it requires), but I just wanted to point out that it was a good method. Maybe, you could see if there is some "MOD" which could do that. |

Yes - if the entire skin were made of CSS stylesheets like on InvisionFree, yes you could actually do something like this. However, phpBB is a little more complicated - and add the fact that the forum isn't actually hosted on MG - and that pretty much explains why there aren't any more forum themes besides Getaway.  Cleod - if you were to put the MG forums on your FTP and keep the SQL on your server, you COULD offer users the option to change styles...because it doesn't look like FreeForums is too leniant. p.s. http://demo.phpbb3styles.net/Chrimbo McChristmasGaming _________________   |
