Endoh stumbled back, holding his abdominal region. He sword dropped to the floor. "s***....." he muttered, falling on his knees. He looked up and Eton, and smiled. "Well...you bested me for now..." he muttered

Euphemia saw the attack, and was shocked. How could that kid injure Endoh that much?! She dropped the sword, ran out into the lobby, and sprinted towards Eton, knife in hand. She raised it up for a quick, and deadly strike, hoping to finish him off.

Eton looked up Euphemia who struck at him. At Eton felt a knife pierce into his adominal area, below his rib kage. A painful blow. Eton gasped as he stumbled backwards, feeling blood in his mouth. He wasn't about to die, not yet. Eton slashed at Euphemia and found himself barely scaving her. "Damn." he muttered as he felt blood run down his mouth.

Endoh smiled, and picked up his sword again. He lunged at Eton, this time aiming for the abdominal area, hoping to worsen the wound already inflicted there. "Take this kid!" he shouted maniacally. "This shot should get rid of you!"

Euphemia jumped back, noticing Endoh striking. She ran around behind Eton and stabbed at his back with the knife. "This is for earlier in the forest, you creep!"

Serene began to run out of the room, now fearing to see Eton dead, the one thing she never wished to see. As she was running, she noticed the linen covered sword Euphemia dropped. "Odinas' sword...." she muttered. "...maybe I could take it...no...it'd never work..."

"We'll see about who get's rid of who!" Eton shouted as he dodged Endoh's blow completely and struck back with his own. Eton stabbed at Endoh and hit him across the shoulder, near the neck, inflicting a deep gash. As he did this, he felt cold steel dig into his back. Euphemia was determined to see him dead. Eton stumbled and barely regained his footing as Endoh fell down to the ground.

Lex's eyes widened. "Uh.." He pointed to a shadowy corner. There, Violet hung completely still, concealed under the cover of darkness. Her wrists were badly chaffed and the circulation was almost cut off from her arms.

Marion gasped and clutched Leon's arm harder. "Is.. is she... d-dead..?" Lex was grumbling about how he was going to murder Preston when he got the chance.

the demon screamed and swept its hand upwards. A bolt of purple energy tore up from the ground, ripping into one man's chest and another's head. Both toppled over, finished. The creature suddenly felt cornered. The strange magic it was being assaulted with burned and seemed to wipe away its flesh. Its eyes glowed violently. Nothing else could hurt it. It needed to destroy the one with the magic.


Rana stared as the demon's magic struck down two warriors. He stepped back so he was closer to Tania. He couldn't possibly fight the demon. Ideas floated in his head, but he doubted any would work. He turned his eyes and looked at Tania's steed. If whatever was attacking came closer, he supposed the pegasus was their only option.

"Damnit! He was suppose to buy the drinks tonight!" Yelled one of the men, as he backed away as he began to reload his musket as another rushed it him with an axe and performed a strong slash, doing little effect to the creature, to his surprise. Tekun backed away.

"Anna keep attacking if you can. I think it's the only thing that will work." Tekun said readying himself to defend her.

Leon's eyes widened almost in a rage. He was going to rip whoever was responsible's head right off their shoulder's when he saw them. He approached Violet, almost forgetting Marion was still there. When he moved he felt a lot of resistence, and realized she was clining on like her lfie depended on it.

"I'm going to check." He said holding back the rage in his voice. He got up and had Marion let go, but stay close. He approached and examined the chain. It was rusted and looked like with enough effort he could cut through it. Leon reached to a concealed sheath he had tied to his leg and pulled out a knife and began to cut his way through the chain.

Violet tried to dodge the blow but it glanced on her hip, she had to hold her tongue from shouting in response to the blow, she felt as if she could feel it bruising at the very moment. Her lute still in pristine condition shone despite the fact that they were in an alley "If my lute can make it so can I" thought Violet. She swung her lute wildly and violently around her in retaliation to the man's blow hoping to hit him and possibly leave a mark as well.

Tania continued to watch the battle below, "How long would they be able to fight off the demon?" she thought to herself worriedly "Would Anna be able to handle using all that energy?" She combed her fingers through Tania's messed up mane, she looked calm on the outside but on the inside she was ready to jump onto Windy's back and go fly to rescue Tekun, she would not let anything happen to him.

Anna was panting but nodded at Tekun, she was slightly disappointed that no other monks had joined the ranks but any help was good help. Tekun was defending her so she'd be able to use more powerful magic. She got down on her knees with her hands in front of her in a prayerful position "Oh heavenly light," she said in her usual hushed voice "Send me your strength that I may be able to vanquish this evil." The air around her began to intensify with life, energy and magic, it was a heavenly atmosphere. Her body began to glow and she stood up slowly the light pulsating through her body, she faced both of her palms at the demon who appeared to be dealing with some other warriors. All the light that was travelling across her body focused on her hands and each hand shone like little stars brilliantly. "Let it be done" The light erupted from her hands in two brilliant beams of light magic they twisted together in a beautiful display and shot at the demon. "Go back to where you came from!" she yelled, surprising herself at her loud outburst.

Violet mumbled and swung her leg at Leon's crotch and began to flail her arms at him. Marion jumped back in surprise and almost fell over. Lex caught her just in time, causing her to shriek and sock him straight in the mouth. He yelped and staggered back, dropping her to the ground. His back connected with a hidden switch and the room began to rumble. A hole appeared in the middle of the floor and started growing in size. Peering down into the pit revealed hundreds of sharp spikes beckoning death.

"Ow.. gods, damn the harvest! Baack back, back up to the wall!!" He flattened himself against the stones.

The man hits forced him into submission easily. He crumpled on the ground, along with his cohorts. The boy snickered and lithely climbed the wall behind him with ease and disappeared from site. A guard strolled by and looked down the alley. He spotted a blood stained girl with a blunt weapon and three injured men. "Stop right there, criminal scum!" He dashed toward her, drawing his sword.

The demon's eyes flickered curiously as he watched one of the men bring an axe to his side. The weapon buckled, the metal blade warping and becoming unusable. Its wielder watched in horror as the demon's massive hand came down to cover his face and pushed down, snapping his back. His flesh grayed and rotted in seconds.
The creature breathed heavily as it looked up, back towards the priestess. Just then a terrible light shot from her hands, spiraling in a convex and heading straight for its chest. It spun, throwing an arm out to defend, but the light struck directly through its hand, coming out faintly from the back of its shoulder. The demon couldn't make a sound; instead it began to run at Anna, raising its usable hand to destroy her with its terrible magic.


Rana was beginning to feel antsy. He wrung his hands, trying not to reach out and hurl more void at the demon. The air around him even seemed to stress, cooling and shuddering with his body. When his finger or eye twitched wisps of shadows would appear around his hands before vanishing.

As Endoh fell to the floor, he caught a glimpse of Serene running away. He couldn't let her escape, but he couldn't leave Euphemia alone in a fight against this kid. He gave in to his thoughts. "Euphemia will be okay, I trained her myself anyway..." he thought, pulling himself towards Serene. He still held his sword in his hand, keeping it for the final blow.

Euphemia was now angry at Eton for hurting Endoh that much. She pulled back her knife again, and began rapid stabbing attempts. "I'm not going to let you live! You're dying with her!" she cried angrily. "LET ME TASTE YOUR SWEET, SWEET BLOOD, THIEF!"

Serene paused for a second, and reached out for the linen covered sword. She hesitated though, stopping before grabbing it. She began to question her actions. Did that woman really get it from a dear relative of hers? Would she feel horrible if it was stolen from her? "I can't take something precious to me if it's precious to someone else..." she muttered "...it's not right..."

Leon reacted and fell back but caught his balance, the next thing he knew was that the floor was opening, his first reaction was to grab Marion. He ran over to her and picked her up off the ground, scooping her up in his arms and moving back against the wall.

"Lex, hit whatever you hit again! Quick!" Leon shouted to him.

Tekun charged at the demon and attacked it, he would not let harm come to Anna. He let out a war cry as he leapt and in one quick motion cut off one of the demon's arms, to his surprise, it did damage. The creature halted it's charge and backed away for but a moment, enough to allow Tekun to get back to Anna. He looked at the arm which lay motionless on the ground.

Endoh tried to flee as Euphemia unleashed a fury of Berserking blows at Eton. Eton backed up and dodged, rolling forward towards Endoh. "Ever wonder what it's like to see a human's head with a knife protruding from it?" Eton said to mad women as he threw a knife at Endoh quickly. A last ditch effort, he needed to kill him. He watched almost in slow motion as the knife flew through the air. The next thing he knew, Endoh fell to the ground, letting out a gasp, a knife protruding out of the back of his skull.

The demon reached down slowly, cautiously with its good hand to touch its now dead arm. It felt no pain, but did feel considerably weaker. The arm on the ground was twitching and smoldering, and when the demon touched it it flashed orange and shrunk into nothing. The demon rumbled. What a strange world... It mused in its own growling language before again beginning to run at Anna. Its eyes flared bright purple, as well as its hand.

Another ray of light shot out from the brush at the creature, barely missing it, but detering it from furthering it's charge. An elderly monk came out from the brush with a tome.

"Foul beast!" He shouted at it as he joined the rest of the men. His appearance would give Anna the break she needed to recover. Tekun held his defensive posistion, keeping a close eye on the seemingly indestructable creature.

The creature stumbled to a halt, then threw its hand out towards the monk who had appeared from nowhere. All of the demon's strength left its body in a massive wave of solid, purple energy which connected with the monk's chest. The man's body contorted grotesquely and slammed into a tree, his face mangled like it had been smashed in with an axe.

The cyclopian demon screeched in annoyance. It had lost control and overdone an attack. It was weaker by the moment. It fell to its knees, eyes growing dimmer. Its one hand shook as it rose into the air and turned deep crimson with another desperate attack.
