Tania smiled pleasantly, "I'm fine" she insisted to Rana. She then turned to acknowledge Eton's request "The more, the merrier" she said while walking through the door. She walked through the halls her boots making a light "pat" on the floor as she stepped. She felt a buzzing in the back of her mind, like something was nagging at her to pay attention to something. She patted her head and continued but the buzzing continued, now it felt like her mind was being suppressed by something she tottered slightly, and laughed faintly. "Fresh air will do me some good" she said while opening the door to the inn. An ominous feeling began to grow on her, she wanted to smash her head into a wall. Tears began to slide down her face "D-Don't worry guys...its just a bad headache" she said. She walked deeper into the garden and inhaled deeply while amongst the flowers. Tania sighed, the pain had subsided slightly though the feeling had not gone, what was wrong with her?

Violet continued to play while listening to Leon. "Oh climbing shouldn't be to hard" she said lightly. She blew from her mouth attempting to push aside the hair that had fallen over her right eye, eventually it shifted away and she continued playing again. It was a lovely day, though they did have an encounter with a minotaur earlier.

Tekun wrapped his arms around Tania giving her a big hug.

"Don't....cry..Tania." he muttered. "It upsets me."

The assassin got up and left the room, through a backdoor, locking it. He would later remerge from the tavern in a darkered cloak. He looked around and saw a group heading into the garden, from there he took another route and got into it. He saw his target, surrounded by three men, one fitting the description of the guard. He waited and watched from the shadows.

Rana flinched when he saw Tekun hug Tania. He felt almost guilty that he hadn't. He crossed his arms, suddenly realizing how strange things had been since he had bothered by that man in the snow. He wasn't even sure what he was doing at that moment... He twitched as he closed his eyes and tried to enjoy the cool air.


The demon peered into the cave that held the altar from which Tania had been reborn. It growled and as it stepped in and the air around it heated up. The power surrounding the place was literally burning as the creature breathed it in. The demon's skin glowed faintly and seemed to smolder as it waved its arms slowly, powerfully around.

Tania tried to smile "I'm sorry but..argh" she touched her head again, something was wrong, and whatever the wrong was it was powerful. "Stop it!" she yelled to no one in particular while covering her ears as if it could block the pain. Peace immediately came over Tania and the pain subsided as if it had never been there, she blinked with a surprised expression, and then sighed. "I-I'm feeling better now" she said as if worried that by proclaiming her improved health the pain would return.

Serene exited the room and went to the front of the inn, finding Black king outside. She ran to him, quickly mounting him. Black king was started, but Serene whispered to him. "We're leaving, right now." she told him in a soft, slightly shattered voice.

Black king respected her wish, and began to hover up into the sky. "I expected this..." he thought to himself. "She did something and doesn't wish to face repercussions."

Serene pulled her head back down to Black King to whisper something else. "I'm sure you remember that man we met before...Jay?" she began. "If you can find him, then that would be a good thing, just hurry quickly."

Nechis stood quietly, waiting for a reply from the man. Following the eyes of the cavalier, it was apparent that the man was gesturing towards a plaque of some sort. "Heh, I can't read." he stated plainly. He had never thought it to be an important skill for a hunter. "However, I think it is safe to assume that we are in a inn." he finished, waiting for the reply to his second question. The only answer was a shrug. "You don't know?" Nechis asked, beginning to worry about the well being of the others. Living alone in the woods again did not appeal.

The black pegasus had left in a hurry, Anna immediately stuck her head out of the window hoping to get a glance of the poised rider but to no avail, a single black feather floated down from the sky and landed softly in her hand though. Which she thought could last her until the pegasus returned. Anna stretched and exited the library walking through the halls silently. She headed towards the garden thinking that perhaps the pegasus and his rider had decided to go to the lush garden.

She saw a beautiful girl in a blue dress surrounded by men, she watched on with a sigh. Anna wished that she could be as beautiful as the girl, to be fawned over by men like her. "Perhaps she was the pegasus rider she had seen earlier?" she thought to herself. She fit the description that she had conjured in her mind of a pegasus rider.

Windy who was also still in the air watched the criminal and her horsey take flight"Perhaps the girl had stolen something?" Or maybe she's a murderess?"she thought to herself. She glided on the rising air and barely flapped her wings, reserving her energy. "Why do you help a villain? Have you no pride? No honour?" She said to Black King.

"You shouldn't talk about climbing and trudging with this one around, Miss Violet. I'm afraid he's all armor and no balance." Lex snickered at Leon's expense. "Perhaps we should find a gondola for him to ride? Maybe we could tether him to a plank and slide him on down?" He continued to crack jokes at the man's bulkiness. "Or better yet, his armor already serves that purpose!" This time he broke out into a noisy laughter and ran up another tree so as to avoid getting caught on the edged blade of an angry soldier.

Leon gave an angry glare at Lex. Laughing at how large he was.

"Maybe ill just use that tree your in, bring you with me." He gave a slight grin and a glare. "Don't push me Lex."

The assassin came out from the shadows, looking at the group and at Tania impaticularly, he noted Eton, he was the closest to the guards appearance. He pulled out a Kard.

"Tania. I've come for you." He said approaching, twirling the dagger.

Tekun jumped up as did Eton, both drew their weapons, looking at the man who had a killer intent.

"Back off!" Tekun shouted at the man who remained silent. He wondered why a child would draw a sword on him, so odd, he wasn't the guard, didn't fit the description at all.

Rana started at the sight of the assassin. Why didn't I sense him? He thought. He waved his hand and shadows rolled from his palm, darkening the air around the garden. Energy crackled softly as he readied himself. "Why are you after her?" He growled into the assassin's mind.

Tania was shocked by the intruders presence, she had no way to defend herself, though the men seemed to be doing a good job by themselves. "Did something happen to my father?" she wondered to herself "Has he joined the war and now they want me hostage?" she began to worry. "Perhaps I should have written more letters to him" She gazed at the man without a flicker of emotion. She stood behind the men to prevent herself from getting in their ways.

Anna saw a man appear from the shadows, the other men quickly drew their weapons and confronted the man. "Oh my" she thought to herself "An angry lost lover coming to take her against her will and marry her, forcing her to bare her children, to cook and do the house chores where she will live a long and unhappy life but refuses to leave because she doesn't want to leave behind her children but dreams of her true love which she was taken away from." Anna didn't think about how preposterous her idea seemed, but she acted anyways. She opened the palm of her hand, a small sphere of light appeared and from it shot three beams of light each directed at the kidnapper.

A beam of light struck through the darkness and shot at the assassin, hitting him across the face and in the side. He fell to the ground and rolled. Someone else had seen him. He would need to make this quick. He made a rush towards Tania, twirling the dagger.

"I'll make this quick." he said as he swung, his blow to be blocked by Tekun. "Leave her alone!" he shouted pushing his blade against his Kard, shoving him away.

Barbas' eyes rolled out from the back of his head, facing forward. "No!" His back sprung up, he was on a bed, frantically looking around for Lex. "Wha-what?" He now began to speak to himself, unsure of what had took place. He didn't remember falling asleep. The last time he was asleep was outside, before that was at the Inn which burned down in White Fang. "Dream?" At first, he thought he was in the Inn still, and that the fire itself was a dream. Then, he took a look around the room, it wasn't anything like the other one he had been in and remembered.


Him dying began to seem all too real. "No way that was a dream." He blinked his eyes down with force, as he breathe heavily in the air he once missed filling his lungs. He could feel his chest expanding as he took in deep breaths, releasing them. He didn't understand what had happened. It wasn't a dream, and he was sure he was dead, there was no explanation to him being alive. A necromancer was the first thing that came into his mind. Could he be an undead slave to the forces of the darkness?


He soon ruled out that possibility, he could feel the flesh on his bones, and the blood pumping through his veins. There was no way he could be one of the undead. He licked his lips, his body thirsting for water. His head began to pound as he grabbed hold of it, as he lay his head back down on the pillow, sweat dripping from his forehead. His bottom lip trembled out of fear and stress. He wasn't sure where he was, or what to do. For now, the archer would just lay there and rest, someone would have had to bring him to this new place.

Tania jumped back while Tekun blocked the blow. "Why can't you leave us alone?" she said coldly. "Who sent you?" She made sure to stay light on her toes so that she wouldn't be caught easily.

Anna gasped "The mysterious lover wants to kill his ex!" she exclaimed. Anna would come to realize that this wasn't a book she was reading, probably after the battle was over. She opened both palms together this time and two spheres of living light magic glowed into existence she pushed them together and formed one large ball with both her hands facing the attacker. She concentrated and a thick beam of light shot from the orb almost causing her to fall over.
