Hngh I'm a terrible voice actor. And, by the way, I wasn't trying to be a fitting voice for Lloyd despite the fact his older voice bothers me, but I was just using him as he has the most moves I'm familiar with and he has the most actual speaking lines. |

Your voice is actually good, although it is quite "nasally". Try some breathing exercises before you try to voice act. You could also try to sound more enthusiastic, especially with grunts and yells. When you yell, it sounds forced instead of like you're grunting in pain or because you're doing a strong attack. You need to really get into it, become the character.

A lot of times it's just self-esteem issues. I don't wanna jump the gun here, but most likely, he's embarrassed of his voice, as if the whole world will come crashing down if he showcases it.

Yeahh. I didn't do too great in that regard. ..But I have to say. I failed terribly on the "That was for you, Colette." The idea sounded nice at first and then I thought about how cheesy it was. |
