I REALLY wish it wasn't because of VGs, but look at how many children are copying AVGN and more to make their own videos.
Look at ALL the Mic Spammers, Minecraft players, and ETC, saying EXACTLY what youtubers say.
Watch ICBINAVGN and see how many AVGN clones are just kids doing exactly what AVGN did.
I think him being mental took a part, but I think GTA influenced him alot.

Ok, I overreacted alot, but you shouldn't joke around here.
ESPECIALLY because there are a lot of kids who play Steam.

I don't think you understand that:

a. mental illness can have large effects on people.
b. he shouldn't of had the game in the first place, 'cause kids will imitate.
c. he shouldn't know how to use a gun... I'm pretty sure not even GTA shows the proper steps of handling a gun.
d. he shouldn't have ACCESS to a goddamn gun.
e. that's like saying me playing video games should make me a killer, and I play a lot of VGs dammit, but you don't see me going around and throwing people off cliffs while I burn them.

and f. just like the kid who killed himself because Itachi died last year, the parents were very involved in this.


The dad there said, "He's been watching too much TV, he didn't know fiction from reality", and acted as if he was incapable of doing anything to help the kid, when he could've helped him a looong time ago when he first started with the TV.

Now this kid, it's more obvious... Where the hell did they put their firearm? Did they just hand it to the kid and say, "In case of an emergency, shoot someone"? I dunno, but this kid didn't learn that from GTA, and I'm pretty sure he didn't get the gun from there either.

I got b, c, d, and e. Apparently, kids minds are still developing, so when they play violent games, it influences them. Yeah, I see how a mental illness would affect him now.

Yeah kids copy AVGN because they find it funny and want to follow in James Rolfe's footsteps because they look up to him. What in the lord of f*** does that have to do with this incident?
Now I could be wrong here, but apparently the kid didn't actually know what the gun really was and thought it was some sort of toy and didn't realise his caregiver would actually die. If that's true, it pretty much destroys what was left of an argument against GTA. If a kid finds a gun right in his house, full of ammo, safety off and he isn't properly educated on it and shoots someone out of ignorance not even believing that they will die, where does GTA come into this?

I'm running out of patience for this s***.
