Daryl hopped into the saddle, and placed his map and canteen into the container under it. He patted his mounts head, and took a bite of one of his biscuits. "Aye, me too." he said with his mouth full, crumbs falling out. "Onward!" he said, after swallowing his biscuit.

Serene noticed that Black King was starting coldly at Windy, she shooker her head "Aw, Black King, how could I forget. You hate other Pegasi that are around you. And now I remeber why you were kicked out of service for the Pegasus Knights...even my mother couldn't control you..." she said, with a smirk, catching his gaze. "Jeez, it was just a joke..."

Black King continued staring coldly at her "Really Serene? I didn't find it funny" he suddenly said to her without talking. Serene shook her head again and mounted him.

Rana shuddered. The cold was intense. It was colder here than in the mountains he had stayed in before. He suddenly jerked and his hand hit a sharp rock. He whispered a curse and looked at his hand. It was bleeding. Shadows flew into the wound like flies and hung there, like he had plugged the cut. Rana was about to settle down again when he heard footsteps. The man was very close now, and Rana would stick out in this white snow. He shivered a little and hugged himself, hoping he would not be spotted.

Barbas walked past, raising his eyebrow as he looked down at the ground. "You don't hide well." He stated as he walked by. "I'd find another hiding spot if I were you. Just some advice tho, you don't have to listen." He yawned, for he was still tired from the night before.

The group approached the gate, as they passed through it Rungo gave one last piece of advice.

"I've heard of ill things to the west, becareful if you head there." He warned as the gate shut. Silently, Eton wondered how he ended up leading the group. They began heading south.

The shadows floating around Rana stopped and brightened more. He looked towards the man and stopped shaking. Rana slowly reached out again with his mind, and took a look at Barbas'. Rana whispered to Barbas' soul, his voice sounding very weak and tired as he did so. "Why are you here in the cold?"

Barbas stopped. "I am going to Hell Hammer." he stated to the stranger. "What are you doing there?" He asked. "And why are you hiding?" He turned around. "Do you need help?" He questioned, kneeling down near the man. "I see nothing wrong with you, other than your hand."

It hadn't been long since they left, but it had remained eerily quiet. Not liking the silence Eton decided to speak up.

"So.....um.......how's everyone holding up?"

"I believe we're doing fine." He said with a smile on his face. "Just a little cold, but we'll be fine." He continued to walk on with his wyvern, not taking flight yet.

Serene moved up the Eton "I guess I ask too many questions, but where are we headed exactly?" she asked "There's someone I'm looking for, and I want to make sure where we're going is in his travel route." she hoped that she could find the man with the healing sword without having to leave the group, as it was better to travel in a group on the trails.

Tania inhaled the fresh crisp and cold air around her. It was much better than being cooped up in a tent. Windy was pleased as well constantly fluttering her wings and doing a flutter trot along as the traveled. She payed a bit of attention to the conversation at hand, as a good lady should not be caught off guard if a question from the conversation be asked of her.

Rana did not move. "I am not hiding. I am resting." He c*** his head. "Why Hell Hammer?"

Keeping instep besides the group, the wind lightly swaying the fur's upon her body. the sun casting a a lively daylight upon them. "We're heading south through the mountains, No?" She'd say aloud as a follow up to Serene's question. Letting Eton lead them about. Her deep eyes always scanning over the woods surrounding them, trying to keep her senses straight and aware.

"Correct. Out of here and into the mountains." Eton said. His buisiness up there was done. In truth Eton was hoping to find a more liveable area to reach. Very few were up there. The longer they stayed, the less of a chance of leaving. "From there, i'm willing to take suggestions."

Serene pulled back a little and thought for a second "I believe he does walk somewhere through the southern mountains...hopefully we can catch up with him there..." she accidentally said out loud. She looked around, hoping nobody noticed.
