Meta Ridley is a cyborgfied version of Ridley.

Oh, I forgot to add this to my list of things I'd change.

MORE franchise-themed areas in SSE, instead of mostly generic places like "The forest", "The swamp", and "The ruins".

Speaking of that, could we assume that the Meta Ridley is a clone of Ridley in the SSBB universe? I mean, seeing as Meta Ridley is Ridley..

The fact that everything was so plain really bothered me. It's like, honestly, having a franchise-themed area would be more interesting than random desert/forest/clouds.

Depends on how you look at it. Attack wise, they are completely different. In fact they only share like 2 attacks (dashing across the stage, and jumping on you/ship)

It's better than Metal Mario, at least.

Its probably a nod to how Ridley is fought twice in some of the Metroid games, and the second time its usually Meta Ridley or some other similar incarnation

Oh, really? The only time I can remember where you re-fought Ridley was in Metroid Prime 3, but he was Meta Ridley the entire time and got upgraded via phazon.

I dont know that many times, but i do know in Zero Mission he is fought a second time, though that is Mecha Ridley not Meta.

It could be a nod to Ridley's miraculous ability to return in so many Metroid games despite being destroyed in each one lol

Similar to Bowser...
...falls in lava, comes out unharmed.

...falls in lava, comes out unharmed.
Same thing every time. But we all just assume Bowser is too tough to be killed by lava, and move on.

Looking forward to playing as the Sandbag in SSF2. Time for some Revenge to be dished out.

Its funny that you mention that. In NSMB (the DS one not the Wii one) when Bowser is defeated the first time (world 1 boss), he falls into lava and turns into Dry Bowser (skeletal Bowser). Later on in World 8, Dry Bowser is fought, and then Bowser is fought a third time where he is revived by Bowser Jr and he and normal Bowser are fought together.

What character did y'all want in SSBB that didn't make it, but actually had a chance?
I wanted Krystal pretty bad, personally. I wanted to kick a** with a staff for once.

Krystal I would say has more chance than any other Starfox character.
Same with Bowser Jr. for Mario, Ghirahim for Zelda, Bandanna Dee for Kirby and Zoroark for Pokémon.

I agree with Bowser Jr. Not sure if the Kirby series needs anymore characters. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think Zoroark was announced before Brawl came out. And I don't know what the Zelda one is lol but I'm sure if it's popular enough in the Zelda series than that's probably accurate.
