In the older betas,the spring would be there but it would be gone after a second,which i liked.Plus,Sonic would jump a great distance but now...Not even close to project M. EDIT: Ok,so hopefully we dont keep these overused Sonic Advance sprites. Sonic should have voice clips from Jason Grithith along with the other actors voice clips that sound like Jason. He needs his moveset changed. Cleoud needs to take notes from Project M, Crusade and SSB4. ( No offense Cleoud ) And who cares if hes top tier? Tiers mean NOTHING. Thats my rant about Sonic in SSF2

What is Down-Spec in the air used for?

Its a spike, but if you miss offstage, youre a dead hedgehog.

From what I've seen, people just spam it to stall and wait for openings.

Never really seen it used for stalling. I've seen it more for challenging approaches from below.

I see it used mostly for combos out of the grounded downB tbh

I use his down special pretty much exclusively to recover from an up-smash (provided it doesn't kill me outright) and to to start and end combos. The fast speed of it helps a lot in this regard.

A combo of mine in Turbo mode is to use it from above an enemy and then do an aerial, most likely the neutral or side aerial to rack up some damage.

I use it for different things depending on the situation, though I tend to use it as an approaching option more than anything.

We need his, voice, resprite and Project M and Sm4sh counterpart. Some dev, please help Sonic, he is burning into crisp.

To be honest, Sonic and Tails needs a resprite.. Not as bad as before the retool but they are the only characters without one.

They look fine tho.

They dont look fine. Plus, im not becoming a dev. We already have a dev who does great sprites of characters including sonic, even some devs said he was good so lisnovki became a dev. Maybe they are having trouble with voice clips. We dont need a silent hedgehog do we? No. We wanna hear " Your too slow' and 'Come on step it up' and such.
