There have been a lot of newcomers lately and they either double post/smiley spam/make more welcome topics
When a newcomer joins MG,there should be a link to the rules as well in the welcome pm or they might forget about reading the rules and act like noobs here

It's because they're all 11 and 12 and don't know how a forum works.

And they're stupid too.

Didn't we already move the rules to the new user section.

That worked flawlessly.

Is it possible to make it so that they can't post in the forums until they have read the rules? Like, upon registering they are taken to a page where the various rules are listed, and after they confirm they have read them, they are:
1. Allowed to post.
2. Taken to a quiz which determines whether you actually read the rules.
Wouldn't that be possible?

What Kyuubit said. If they break the rules and whine, it's not our fault. If they don't know the rules they shouldn't post. Why do we care so much? This is like, the third topic addressing this.

Then like 40% of them would fail because most of them wouldn't read it. I say the best way to fix them is let them do whatever they get warned or banned. The next time they'll know more to avoid there mistakes.

I liked the way Blade made his registration page

The actual link was hidden in the rules while * CLICK HERE at the bottom was fake that led to telling them to actually read what was posted, that can even lead to not being able to register till the next day too ... maybe
