Okay, there's a large, large difference between adding content and replacing content. She's not 'replacing' anybody; Her being optional would be pointless. Exactly what advantages would you get by not having her?

Yeah. I understand your disappointment though; Nascar isn't the first thing I'd like to see in such a game. It's like adding Naruto to an (official) Nintendo game. I wouldn't mind replacing her with someone from SEGA but keep the same stats so we never truly 'lost' anything.

Steve Lycett has confirmed on multiple websites that they havent replaced anything to add her into the game.

I never said anything about her replacing things; I was talking about replacing her.

Yea but let's be honest... Who the hell requested she should be a playable character in sonic all stars transformed? We have avatars on the 360 and miis on the wii for that reason...

Ugh... Oh well... It doesn't make any of a huge difference..

Sunshine Tour (Samba De Amigo) confirmed to be the third returning track by SUMO employee Joe Neate.

And at the Liscensing Expo in Las Vegas not too long ago, more news on SEGA All-Stars Racing Transformed cropped up.

It appears that the game is also getting an iOS and Android version, will come out in November, and will have exclusive features for the Wii U, Vita, and 3DS.

Also, while un-related to SEGA All-Stars Racing Transformed, the iOS version of Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing just got an update that adds Ulala and three tracks to the game. The previous update also added Knuckles, Shadow, and a Samba de Amigo track, so if you missed out on either of these updates, nows a good time to get them.

ANYWAYS. The character SEGA fans have been waiting for is FINALLY here. And yes he's brought a friend too. Or should I say rival? Anyways, its here. NiGHTS and Reala have been confirmed as racers, as well as a Transfornable NiGHTS track that goes through many worlds in the NiGHTS universe. And the cool thing is, to keep with the the fact that NiGHTS and Reala themselves are able to trasform, they actually ARE the Vehicles. I think they look cool.

They were confirmed at Summer of Sonic, a European Sonic/SEGA event that started today. While no high quality pictures have released yet, I'll be sure to post some pics or videos of NiGHTS and Reala as soon as possible.
