The reason I cut so many side characters you all love is because I believe this time, there will be a change of focus.

I think with in Smash Bros, Sakurai would focus on representing as many different Nintendo franchises using as little side characters as necessary, rather than adding side characters onto already existing franchises.

Smash Bros. is supposed to be a celebration of Nintendo franchises anyways, and with how many different games Nintendo has made, I would expect to see a much more varied roster.

Also, I don't want any of the characters on this list (except maybe Bomberman) I said it was a prediction.
So I don't want Little Mac or Prince Fluff. Little Mac has had little representation in Smash Bros and Prince Fluff is from a Kirby game that broke from the original series formula.

The only character I want in this game is De'Mille, and I seriously doubt he has any chance getting into this game.

But Peach and Zelda aren't "side characters", they're very the focus of the Mario and Zelda franchise.
You can still include representation of other franchises and still keep the characters from the past game, you just don't add anymore characters for those already existing franchises. Demeaning characters from the bigger franchises like Mario and Zelda make no sense.

Especially when you cut the characters with a unique moveset and don't add anybody who could adopt that previous playstyle for those that liked that character in the previous game.

Wii Fit Trainer was in the first game with the Wii Balance Board, which was a advancement in technology
So was Rob, a advancement in Technology.
Little Mac was a hit, and featured Mike Tyson, which was one of the most famous games with real celebrity.
Prince Fluff Repped a player 2, you could also have Gooie, who has not appeared in a long time, or Bandana Dee.

But I did have Little Mac and Prince Fluff in my roster, because I thought they were likely. I was just making it clear that I wasn't picking characters I liked or wanted in, because someone said, "Why people wants Little Mac in this game."

I definitely need a different mindset to make a plausible roster. Might redo it later, retaining more veterans.



Melee is my favorite because it is so fast-paced. 64 is the worst because it was really limited by technology at the time.
New one will be better because I'm hoping connectivity with the 3DS will spice up the gameplay.
