it has like the worst ideas for notes though why are up and triangle interchangeable except for these random moments i'd rather use the d-pad for those star notes

The d-pad correlates with the face shape buttons. Up triangle, left square, down x, right circle. It's so you can hit eighth notes easier.
Get good wtf don't complain about a rhythm game that you're playing on easy.

those arrows are the worst thing though, the D-pad just randomly decides it's relevant when it wasn't before and the control stick is really uncomfortable to use but i could be playing it on the vita

really
is pressing the d-pad in a direction sometimes -that f*** difficult-?
no, it's not
stop complaining about something that is never a f*** issue
you're not annoyed by it at all, stop pretending you are
if you actually are, stop playing video games forever, they're clearly too complex for you

Is this place starting to get more rage filled or is it just me?

it's not difficult but it's just sort of random and awkward the game would be better without them and just making the d-pad customizable to be either the four buttons or the star notes
it's uncomfortable and i really don't like it for some reason
DS screens are different because you're not constantly swapping between the two and if you are you're probably used to it unlike project diva F where the d-pad seems like an optional button before you randomly gotta press it i mean i think it'd be better if you could press something like circle and x at the same time instead of pressing these random what the f*** buttons here
i'd enjoy the game a lot more (and would be willing to play on higher difficulties) if those weird buttons weren't there
i really don't get why i'm getting so much s*** for this seriously

I'm actually used to seeing Kyuubit angry.
Maybe I think that because I've starting to spend too much time in SSF2 section. :T

@kuro: you're getting so much s*** for this because pressing a direction on the d-pad and one of the buttons is
not weird not complicated not difficult to do
it's a complete non-issue and if you're complaining about it then congratulations: a video game where you press buttons when the game tells you to press buttons
is too f*** complicated for you
also, you have to "randomly" press it? randomly? do you know how a f*** rhythm game works?
