Claus, you may just have a virus. I once had a virus on my Win 2000 (long time ago, time of the dinosaurs), when every time I opened IE (yep, I used IE way back then), it opened 2 iexplore.exe in my Processes tab.
Meh, scanning time.

I had that too, but somehow it just went away :S and, you think that's dinosaur Remember Windows 1.0 Anyways, nobody, you may be right/wrong. When I closed the second tab of the default tabs when you open the browser, a chrome.exe process left. So i'm guessing that I was right.

I notice the K at the end of the Disk Memory Space, and I cry.

The first OS I used was Win 95. I had to use the command prompt to start up games.

Every tab and window opens another process, that's good memory management, so that the entire browser can't crash, just tabs. It also allows Chrome to "sandbox" the tabs, preventing most damage from pages with dangerous code.

I do not want to explain how to process management for an OS can eat a lot of system resources.

The reason I hate it, as that the first time I tried to boot it up, It failed to do so, and gave me the following error message:
"Something is wrong with the program".
How insightful.
