Black King slowly moved over to Eton, he wouldn't let his mistress die out here, and this was probably the only time he would let another person besides Serene mount him and ride. He motioned to Eton with his head, trying to tell him this.

Charisma had grabbed the arrow the same way Julius did, trying to pull them out the best she could. "I'm sorry." She said to Julius. "This... This is my fault. I couldn't get the spell right.." She was disappointed in herself, she caused this man who risked his life for her so much pain.





"Come on, we're almost out of here." Barbas stated to the small group, as he looking around for archers and other potential threats that could interrupt their way out of the village.

Julius gasped in pain and began to breath heavily, almost whining, but soon stopped.

"No. Stop blaming yourself." Julius said as he reached fro the other arrow, he went to pull and felt a sharp pain, it hit the bone and was settled there. He knew Charisma would need to do it. "I...took the arrow, so you wouldn't die. I told you not to cast the spell. He began to put the medicine on the shoulder. "Charisma, the last arrow, you need to pull it."

He dreaded the pain of it. He could not take much more.


Eton seemed to understand what the pegasus wanted. He mouth Black King and held Serene yet, being careful he did not drop her or fall off.

Charisma nodded. "I know... I know.." She looked at the arrow. This one looked bad, worse than the others. She grabbed the arrow. "On three..." She told him, giving him time to ready himself for the intense pain that was to come. "One... Two... Three...." She pulled the arrow as fast and hard she could, hoping it would come out without resistance.



Barbas continued on. He saw no threats. When they got out of the village, he set the man down, against a rock. "Alright, looks like we're OK." He said to them. "Anything else?" He asked. "If not, I should go help others."

Serene opened her eyes again, for a quick moment, and looked around. She tried moving, but the wounds started opening even more. "These are the exactly same wounds from two years ago..." she muttered, closing her eyes again. Blood was showing up all over her clothes.
Black King stood and waited for Eton to do something, he wanted to get going right away, but hesitated, as he didn't know where to go.

Eton held Serene close.

"Don't move. Let it heal up, I applied medicine." Eton said the concern showing in his voice. "Serene, I...I won't lose you too, alright."

He looked at her pegasus who seemed confused, he did want him to mount it with it's owner afterall, it seemed lost.

Julius screamed in pain at the sudden feeling of it, he was too sore to flail around due to it so he closed his eyes, clenched his teeth, and fell at Charisma's feet, on the cold ground. Still closing his eye's he whined, he ached all over his arm and his body was sore as well. He breathed heavily, nearly passing out. Muttering "It hurts." quietly.


The family began heading off, trying to get further away.

"It's..your choice." the man said. "You helped us. I...can't express my gratitude enough for that."

From here the town looked like a candle lit in a pitch blackroom, all on fire, steel clashing, an eerie sight in the region easily seen for miles among the frozen ground, grey skies and snow.

She picked up the medicine which he had dropped. Wow... It must hurt a lot for him to scream like that. She thought, kneeling down. "I have to put on the medicine now." She warned him, applying it to his wounds.


Barbas nodded. "Alright." He said, turning around. "I don't even know if I'll be able to get anyone else out... But i have to try." He walked back, heading back into the village. "Revan's last request. I won't give up so easily."

Julius opened his eyes a bit to see Charisma treating yet. The ground was cold and he lacked a coat or his armor to keept him slightly warm, he didn't even have a blanket. He felt this all to much. He adjusted himself a little, what he could. "It's...cold...." He muttered to her, closing his eyes. "Don't...forget the bandages." He pointed, near the medicinal bag, or where it was. A roll of bandages lay there yet, unused.

The town continued to be ablaze, a battle or two raged yet. It would appear somewere alive yet.

Charisma took the bandage, wrapping it around Julius' wounds. She took off her robe, handing it to him. She was now in her dress. "You need this more than me... I'm gonna find a way to light this torch." She looked about, thinking of a way to light the torch she had.


Barbas looked for any survivors that needed help. The Inn was as good as gone, along with his bag of gold. All this work and no pay... He thought. Good thing I'm not a mercenary...

"MAEL!"
Like a ghostly apparition, a pale-skinned girl (or was it a woman?) stumbled out of an alley, hand clamped tightly around her left arm. A grimace twisted the grimy lines of her face as her gaze, blue as a winter morning, flickered from side to side, scouring the hellfire surrounding her. A thin trickle of blood traced a crimson line down her arm; her shoulder was raw and blistered, obviously burned. Even the tips of her short-cropped black hair were singed a grayish black.
"MAEL! HELLO! MAEL!"
Her rasping screams were smothered by the smoke and crackling fire, her breath quick and heavy. She leaned against a crumbling wall, gasping for breath, the furnace mirrored in her pale eyes.
Her sister had gone from sight for only a moment. How could she have lost her? How could the big pirate be dead? She couldn't. It was as simple as that. Mael had never been dead. November knew she wouldn't be for a long time yet.
But then where was she?
The small woman caught sight of another figure, steady and dark against the city's flames. Hope surged inside her chest. The smoke grated against her throat, making her violently cough, but November refused to give up when she had the chance of finding someone, anyone, still alive. Especially if it might be her sister. She sprinted forward, keeping low, trying to stay out of most of the smoke. "MAEL!"
But it wasn't Mael. It was a man. Wariness glinted in the hunger-sharp lines of her face. "Who are you?"

[By the way, it's Barbas she's seen. Just if that isn't clear.]

"Leaving you in that dress. No...I couldn't." He said refusing to take that robe, still lying on the ground, exausted. "You'll freeze faster then I." Julius looked around slightly and grabbed the arrows that had been in him as they were nearby, tinder for a fire. He began moving around the snow and sound a stick, though slightly damp. He rumaged through a supply bag on his side and pulled out a book of some sorts. something to read one would assume. "Start a fire, arrow shafts as tinder, use the bandages and books if you have too."

The only sounds left in the town was the crackle of fire, buildings burning and two swords going at it yet, only two. The sound eerily filled the town as two people somewhere went at it, to the death yet.

Barbas looked upon the woman. She didn't look well. "Come on, you need to get out of here." He said to her. "The whole village is going down, and anyone inside will surely die. The faster we get out, the faster I can come back and help more people out." He motioned for her to follow him. "I know the way out of here" He stated. Such a long day...




Charisma was confused. She didn't know what to do with the arrows. She never needed to make a fire before. "Um... So... What do I do?" She asked, taking her robe back. "I wish you would just take the robe..." She said to him. I can't even make a fire... I can't get a spell right.. I.. Can't do anything.

OOC: Er...

Tania slid off of Windy's back with a slight gasp at the pain as she moved her shoulder. It wasn't a as terrible as the first time she was wounded, probably because there wasn't an arrow in the wound to agitate it. She was in pain but she was worried about Rana, he was just beginning to recover before they got into the battle. "Well if he heard me talking to Windy" she told herself. "He couldn't possibly be to far away from where I was" she pulled her cloak around the wound and looked for him "Rana!" she called out, her voice echoing "Rana!" she called again, she hoped that Rana hadn't fallen unconscious.

OOC: Belth do something? Btw, he shouldnt be too hard to find XD your flying and looking over a canyon, with nothing it in the immediate area.

"You....need to...Strike the match, against the rock, to start it. Use what I....showed.....as tinder...., the arrows shaf's will do well....enough." Julius muttered still in pain yet due to wounds and aches. "I...won't have both of us cold. If...it...bothers you that....much." He stopped and tried to catch his breath. "I'll share it with you."

OOC: Can't fly anymore...healer guy gone means that my wounds are back too.....curse plot twists!!! ^.^
