and just how much have we not discovered yet

I may have discovered yet another tech with Sandbag, yet again by accident

If you DownB upwards at the exact same time you jump, you can still DownB a second time mid-air

No one can unlock Sandbag's true potential. Except maybe you, Craft. You have a knack for dissecting this game down to every last trick. Keep up the good work!

Remember that post i made about "ledge-drop smash attacks?"
Sandbag was included in the list of characters who can smash attack mid-air, and he can Up-Smash in the air easily with his Sanddash (or just dashing normally)
So imma just include this as another sandbag tech that i did not quite list

edit: And i just realized, this also means Sandbag has effectively 2 air jumps when you do that, since his Up-Smash is pretty much a jump


Also, after further testing, you can also double-sanddash by using it right before landing on the ground, not just at the same time you jump

My theory is that his Sanddash refreshes during the move because he lands after being airborne and "after" using a sanddash, but the move didn't get cancelled from that interaction. Also, not inputting anything right away also lets Sandbag lower slightly more to touch the ground, so it doesn't require insane precision if you're doing it out of a short-hop, but don't be too slow since Sanddash can be frustratingly precise with speed


Now i can't help but think of Sandbag as an ancient TAS demon that was sealed in the "body" of a punching bag

imagine if he can do it with everything else

Sandbag can chaingrab out of down throw + sanddashing

First, down throw and buffer a DownB
Once DownB activates, go left/right and very quickly tap the opposite direction before he slides too far (avoid crouching so he can actually walk, of course)

Then repeat

I just realized, this also means you can smash attack out of his down throw

(I was also testing how much does DI affect the chaingrab's viability)

Down b is a better option to dash in the ground towards sideways, I think you also realized, when you press the down b and simultaneously hold down and go into the right ot left side, it dashes very good, combinate it with its side taunt and dash then you got a self-controled speed master. And wonder throughout his various amount of kill confirms, it also makes me think that top players are wrong, sandbag is the best of of the jokes.

Both look like ahegao faces IMO, one is vanilla (no pun intended) and the other is mindbreak. Does the bandaged face show up when getting hit now too? Or is that still just for the loss screen?
