Pokemon showdown works exactly the same way as pok gts, except you are not sending anything to your ds. and In competitive battles, you Always play with lv 100's. And you are supposed to plan ahead with the person you are going against to make sure you are playing with the same tier pokemon. So how is that cheating?

Generating Pokémon is cheating.
Cheating because you're lazy is still cheating. Call it "competitive" all you want. You're not getting the Pokémon legitimately. That's called "cheating". Look it up in a dictionary.

Cheating
1.Act dishonestly or unfairly in order to gain an advantage 2.Deceive or trick.
You arent gaining an advantage if you're opponent is doing the same thing and you aren't deceiving them if they are aware of what you are doing

Because everyone who uses generated Pokémon only uses them against other people using generated Pokémon, right?
Don't argue with me if you don't actually know what I'm talking about.

technically getting all of the super over powered pokemon off the bat can be considered gaining an unfair advantage

Can we just end this please? The point I'm trying to make is that not all people have time to sit there and EV train pokemon and that most people do it with good intentions

uhh no dude it's okay because it's COMPETITIVE it's okay to just generate Pokémon instead of actually catching them yourself because it's COMPETITIVE it's okay to completely ignore the entire point of the game and make sure your team is BEST SUITED FOR FIGHTAN instead of actually having a team full of Pokémon that you've caught yourself and bonded with because it's COMPETITIVE Seriously, can we just make a competitive Pokémon thread so that the people who actually care about the series as a whole instead of just the battling can talk? And the point I'm making is that I don't give a s*** about your "good intentions" when it leads to people abusing it.

The thing is, everyone has access to the same Pokemon on Showdown, so no one has an unfair advantage. But changing the subject, who here actually thinks that Fairy is immune to Dragon? I know Game Freak is trying to balance out the Dragon type, but that'd make the Fairy type OP imo. I think it'll just be resistant to Dragon, if anything.

I don't think so, we only know that they are super effective against dragon, so there can be things that help balance it. Anyone thinks the fairy type can be weak to the dark type

It's called that in English. If you're ever in doubt, check Bulbagarden.I wouldn't be surprised if ghost AND dark was super effective against it, but that would make 3 types that are weak against both dark and ghost.

Burgh looks flamboyantly gay (not as an insult, he really does, similar to Cumore in Tales of Vesperia although to a lesser extent). Cheren.. not really.
