E-book reader

Anyone got one of these? I love reading on the move, but hauling my book collection around is just getting too annoying, especially when on a long flight where I'd finish an entire book before we even land.
So I was wondering if anyone knew enough about these to (dis)advise me on what to look for when I want a decent one. _________________ Play Smite with me? (It's like LoL or Dota, but less frustrating)  "Jesus promised the end of all wicked people. Odin promised the end of all ice giants. I don't see many ice giants around." |

I've used a couple E-book platforms, but honestly I haven't seen one better than the Kindle.

Doesn't the iPad have e-book reader functions? I've seen E-book readers but have never been able to use them. Although, the iPad is pretty nifty it's kind of large

The iPad is pretty.... Yeah.
I honestly haven't had the chance to try any out properly, but from what I've heard, Kindle is at least the most popular option. |

A friend of mine got a Kindle. It's pretty good from what I've seen, with downloadable stories and the like.
I think ya won't regret it. |

I would rather buy a Kindle 2, then give the savings to charity. Actually, I'd rather SHRED the savings then give it to a company whose entire profile can be summed up as "you should buy our s*** cause people think it's cool". I've got better crap to do with my money than buy a brand name. In fact, I'm just gonna get the Kindle because unlike the Apple products, it DOESNT have a history of blowing up in people's pockets. _________________ Play Smite with me? I think it was the iPhone that had that issue. Something about the internal battery being faulty. _________________ Play Smite with me?
