Don't be so arrogant as to try to say PSASBR wasn't molded from smash bros' foundations. Not that they're anything wrong with that.

That being said I hope they take the opportunity to visit the few of the revitalized characters they added to the roster on the PS4. Otherwise they may sink into obscurity.

Y'know, as awful as Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion was, I never heard anyone complain about the fact that it was an obvious Smash Bros. clone. They just accepted it for what it was. I guess it doesn't really count as a clone unless people are afraid it'll be too popular.

I f*** love Smash Bros and PASBR, but even I'll acknowledge that PASBR was clearly only made to ride on Smash's success.

(That said, given the amount of games like this I believe it should be looked at a genre rather than Smash Bros and its collection of imitators, but that's not important)

I mean it only look the same.. It unquestionably plays completely different.
In the past I always wanted PS to release there own brawler type game with all sorts of characters
and then a lil while back Dat* Micheal commercial...almost made me (and im sure other PS fans) cry...
i mean it's a matter of time they released a game like this.

Perhaps one day, Team Ico will finally manage to finish The Last Guardian and do more games.

I wouldn't exactly say something is bad because it's a clone, but you have to admit that when something is obviously based on something, it's based on that. To be honest, now that more of them are popping up, we might as well just call it a "Platfighting" genre now.

I don't think it should be a genre lol, I think people should be more creative.

I hope the Ratchet&Clank seires gets some decent entries again in the PS4 era. I feel like they were really neglected when it comes to PS3 games.
