as long as places like coney island exist there will always be arcades

coney island has like 3 arcade spots or something

i saw one in the poconos when i went there last week too

i figure they're just more spread out and less popular in places outside japan but they exist

Are arcades still a thing? I mean I know in Japan they still are and I figure for fighting games there might be a couple, but F-Zero suprises me.

F-Zero AX is rare as hell, it should surprise you

I demand pictures for proof Kuro

I witnessed the most incompetent coder I've ever seen in action.

194 stop with your cliffhanger bull s*** and show me the beef.

At least tell me how it compares to, say, to making an entire website a laggy piece of crap because you stole some leftover coding from your Russian counterpart.

I'd like to leave at least one record, you know.

Quoting a single line from his code, trying to define a boolean var in a C-like language.

Code:
ctrusr= public bool Authenticate(usr, password)

Note: the ctrusr var was a custom-class var he defined himself two lines above this beauty.

He supposedly passed a ton of courses already, including a course in c#.

Don't even ask me how.

don't tell me what to do!!!

okay so unfortunately, Mario Kart GP wasn't there like i thought it was but literally who cares because F-Zero AX actually WAS there and it was awesome

you got 20 in-game tickets per play which was actually a lot and now i have over 300 tickets when i already had like 122. wanted to make sure i unlocked everything plus i wanted to do time attacks on tracks that i only played racing on. i got the first place high score in 3-4 tracks on Time Attack whoo. on Mute City i beat the previous player's score by about 14 seconds.

the hard tracks are really tough but only because of the steering wheel. it's not as sensitive as a Gamecube controller. tight turns are hella difficult. there's actually these small plates on the back of the steering wheel and you press those to tilt your vehicle. boost button is on the middle of the steering wheel which isn't too great but whatever, it's pretty huge

the chair moves around as you do in the game and if you get hit on either side of your machine the chair itself will actually simulate that. i think something inside of the cabinet hits itself so you hear actual clanks and stuff.

you only get the four default racers and the ten AX "exclusive" ones but if you plug in your memory card you can play as other characters if you have a vehicle for them in your garage. so i got to play as Blood Falcon. i would have used my best custom one but that one is designed with snaking in mind and i wasn't able to snake using it.

it was a long drive but holy s*** it was worth it.

here's the imgur album
