if it's of any significance, in the first match i played when i started the demo, the first thing i did was hit the right d-pad button expecting to go right

More options is never bad

Brawl doesn't let you map movement to the classic controller's D-pad though for some reason

We don't have any problems playing SSF2 I don't see why it should be a problem now. I used to play Brawl with the Wiimote, sure it was weird but still playable.

look, if you don't like D-pads then don't f*** use them. It doesn't mean others don't want to use it instead the circle pad and I don't see why Sakurai would not add this to the custom options. More options never hurt anybody anyway.
