Nechis woke with a start, his lids flying open to reveal bloodshot eyes. Taking a quick glance around the room, it was quite obvious that they no longer were in the ruined town. While where they were was a complete enigma, he chose not to ask, finding that his throat was dry and raspy. He managed a cough, which did little to serve the irritation. His hand reached for the canteen at his waist, and to his dismay, it was empty. It was not a favorable way of awakening. The bandit rolled onto his side, wishing for sleep to overtake him again. Alas, he had rested well, and the fatigue he had felt before had all but disappeared. He pushed up, and was eventually seated upright, and took a better look. The room was nicely furnished, and he seemed to be in a bed. It had been a rather long time since he had slept in such fine conditions. Perhaps he should have been more grateful to the group. Throwing the blankets off, he attempted to stand, but soon fell on the bed again. Walking would be harder than he thought. While that was an unfortunate fact, he felt his back to find that the wounds had not been infected, and had scabbed over. He had made ridiculously careless moves, but luckily, there seemed to be very little consequences for his actions. Regardless, he would have to take more care in the future. He stood up again, and put the blankets on the bed. Nechis could not walk without support. Leaning against the wall, he made his way to the door, exiting to the hallway. Without thinking, he knocked on the room next to his, to see if they could spare a drink.

OoC: Anyone who is still in their room wanna help?

Zesper sat in an elegant armchair in the corner of his room, repairing his dented armor. His battle outfit, chain mail, and equipment lay in a heap beside the chair. He now adorned a simple white button-up tunic with a collar, and black leather pants. The single candle in the room cast dark shadows across the walls, giving the space a haunting feel. A while ago, he had heard Tekun and another girl from the party leave the inn, but had been busy at the moment. With a hammer he had borrowed from the inn-keeper, he hammered away at his dented breastplate as gently as he could, given the circumstances of people might be trying to sleep. At last, Zesper finished with the breastplate and held it up (as best he could with one hand) to the candle-light to inspect his handiwork, his right arm lay in a sling.

just then here was a knock at his door. Zesper stared up at the door through half closed eyes "Who could it be at this hour?" He thought suspiciously to himself, as he tossed the armor into the the pile with the rest, and rose out of the chair. After stretching for a few moments, he limped his way over to the door, his bare feet making a "pitter-patter" noise on the hard-wood floor. Once Zesper made it across the room, he reached out for the large, brass doorknob, and slowly opened the door. There on the other side was a distressed looking Nechis. With a blank expression on his face, Zesper stared down at the boy, waiting for an explanation.

It just had to be this one, didn't it? Perhaps Nechis was not as fortunate as he had previously thought. No sound emerged from his mouth when he opened it wide. Rolling his eyes, he began to wave his hands around, pretending to take a drink. Hopefully this man would be intelligent enough to understand the message.

Leon looked around, he saw his armor and quickly pulled some brush over it while keeping an eye on the minotaur. He looked around and found a hiding spot quickly and went to it. He looked over to Violet.

"Over here." He whispered, waving to her.


Julius saw everyone getting up and rubbed his eye, and yawned. He began to strech as he wondered when Charisma would get back, he bet she had practiced all night, probably had exausted herself.

Tania smiled down at Tekun "I'm glad to be back" she said while hugging him tightly once more. When Rana walked up to the altar she thought he was going to hug her as well, which, she realized was not proper at all for a lady such as herself, to be hugging a man while only clothed in a cloak, she smiled to herself. She kind of missed chiding herself for her unladylike mannerisms. Rana eye's looked shiny and wet as if he was about to cry, she felt as if she had been slapped in the face, she knew that displaying emotion wasn't something that Rana did often.

"Tania..." He whispered, "I'm sorry."

Her eyes widened in shock, had he thought all this time while she was dead that it was his fault she had been killed. "Rana" she said softly, while reaching out to touch the side of his face with the back of her hand. "It's not your fault that I was killed"

Windy was not pleased. She was forced to spend the night in the stables, and these ones were nothing to the one she had at home, though she was permitted to roam freely throughout the house. She was supposed to sleep on hay, something that she usually ate. The other horses were non-sociable and treated her like an outcast because of her wings. She stomped her hoof on the ground, how was she supposed to look after her new master if she wasn't allowed to stay with him at all times. She went down on the hay, it was soft, she supposed but it was a bit itchy as well. She placed her head on the door of the stable remembering the days she spent with her mistress.

Violet nodded silently and stealthily made her way over the hiding place that Leon was pointing to. She made sure that
every step she took was a quiet one and all her bangles were hidden underneath her sleeves to prevent them from moving or glinting in the light. "I'm already with these people for less than a day and they bring bad luck" she thought to herself while getting into the hiding spot. She suddenly had an urge to sing out loud, her free spirit wanted to run through the meadows and play her lute loudly while singing as loud as she could.

Anna had stayed up reading a book again. She closed it with a quiet "thud" after finally completing it. She pulled her sheets around her and wrapped herself up so that it was like she was in a giant cocoon of blankets. She was slightly curious as to how these new people acted, she wanted to hear the tales they would have, for surely they must have been on some sort of adventure to look so haggard and dirty. She heard the sound of knocking echoing down the hall. She climbed out of bed silently, and she opened her door a little bit and peeked out into the hall. One of the travellers was standing in front of another door, doing...some sort of dance. She continued to watch to see how the other adventurer would respond.

Tara displayed a gentle smile and nothing more. That ritual was quite strenuous on her soul, but nothing that wouldn't take but a few minutes to totally overcome. She wasn't about to need yet another nights sleep. "Good to have you back.. " Tara muttered to her, the book in her arms now seemed ordinary and blank, deprived of its power. Tara settled it down beside the altar, she wasn't sure if it had anymore use, at least not as of this moment. She crossed her arms, watching the others have their reunion. A light spark of relief flickered within her, glad to have the Pegasus knight back after that gruesome situation. But this was something, she did not show overtly.

Rana paused, then took a shaky breath. "I was strong enough to save you..." He turned his head into Tania's hand. "I'm sorry." He twitched, then touched Tania's hand with his.


Gabriel skipped most of the way back to the inn. He chatted with Lucifer for a while, but when he could see the building in the distance he sped up and started running. Maybe the others would be doing something... He hadn't done anything fun in a long while.

Tania blinked, she wasn't sure at all until now that Rana was interested in her at all. He always seemed to be distant thinking about something else, somewhere else, though he had always accepted her offerings of kindness. She felt herself grow warm at his touch, her cheeks burned red, which she knew was rather unladylike as well but for once she didn't care, she was among friends. "It's alright" she said quietly. She shivered, the damp air within the cave was rather chilly and all she had on was a cloak which only spared her from embarrassment, instead of the cold. A thought then hit her what had happened to her friend Windy, the last she recalled was Windy being flung into a building like a plastic toy. She didn't want to bring it up, but what was a pegasus knight without their pegasus? "Could we go back to wherever you guys are staying these cave is getting rather cold" she said while shivering again.

Violet opened her mouth and took a big gasp of air, she felt like she was possessed by some sort of spirit. She had to sing. She took out her lute though she felt like a puppet, she wanted to cry but there was a mysterious joy within her. She placed her hands onto the lute and raised her hand to strum.

"It's ok, let's head back to the inn. Also, Tania', windy's fine." Tekun said with a wide smile. With that the group headed back, Tara leading with Tekun and Tania walking together as Rana broguht up the rear.

As Violt spoke, Leon put his hand over Violet's mouth as she began to sing.

"Don't." he muttered as he began to sweat. The Minotaur looked over, seeing them nearby. He let out a roar with and raised his axe.

"There!" he shouted.


Ten mitues passed and Julius grew concerned, he was about ready to go out and look for her.

For a few moments, Zesper said nothing as the bandit hopped around and made crude gestures towards his mouth. It looked as though the boy was about to pass out if he didn't get whatever he was needing. Then it hit him, bandit wanted water. Looking over his shoulder, Zesper spied a glass jug of water that he had ordered earlier sitting on his bed-stand, still filled to the brim. Holding up his index finger as if to say "gotcha" then turned oh his heels and walked over to retrieve it. Returning to the doorway, he held out the container filled with liquid in offering to the orange-haired bandit. Now that he thought about it, Zesper couldn't remember why he had asked for it.

A sudden realization --
"Where's.. Charisma?" Alice said, facing Julius. The name just came to her when she thought for a couple of minutes. She thought she shouldn't have asked since the answer might have been very simple, but she already did, and waited for a reply. A couple of seconds later, she noticed the worried look on Julius's face, and was concerned about bothering him there..

Tania couldn't believe Tekun's words. Her beloved Windy was still alright, she couldn't wait to get back to her old friend, as well as some clothing for herself. As she saw the inn, she was immediately drawn to the stable, forgetting that she should have probably gotten herself some clothing. She walked into stables cautiously, it smelled heavily of horses, she wished she had her handkerchief at that moment.
"Windy?!" she called out. Tania suddenly heard the pounding of hooves against wood and a frantic neigh. She held the cloak tightly around herself and ran towards the noise. Tania saw Windy reared high above her stall. "Windy!" she called out while running towards her and placing her hand on her muzzle. Windy rubbed her head against Tania. Tears glistened in Tania's eyes "Oh friend, how I've missed you" she said softly while opening the gate, and walked into the stable. She saw that Windy still had her pack on. She slung the pack over her shoulder and lead Windy out of the stable "How dare they put you in this stable" she said softly. She walked towards the inn, looking for Tekun, she wondered where she would stay.

Nechis ferociously grabbed at the pitcher, nearly dropping it as he drank directly from the container. Taking a few deep breaths, he let out a "Thanks". He handed the container back into the hands of the cavalier, and turned again to head down the hall. Foolishness. In is hydrated bliss, he had forgotten that he still could not walk. The man fell against the wall, then followed it to the end of the hall. If only he could find his way out off this inn...

Tekun gave a grin as he looked at Tania and Windy. He was glad that the two were together again. He crossed his arms.

"Tania, what do you say about getting some clothes now. We can't be having you run around in my cloak with nothing else on. Ironically enough, I feel naked with out it." He gave a chuckle.


"Where's Charisma."

He heard Alice speak up. He looked around and saw she was not showing up. He decided he would go look, he was feeling way too worried to be comfortable anymore.

"I...don't know. I'm going to go look for her." Julius said. "Care to help?"

Eton walked out of his room and knocked on Serene's door. He was worried about how she was feeling. He stood outside waiting.

"Serene, you up?"

As the bandit graciously accepted the water, Zesper finally remembered that he had used the water to soak a dirty rag that he used to clean his armor of dirt and blood. Nechis tipped the jug and drank greedily from it, and the cavalier raised a hand to stop the bandit, but stopped halfway through the motion, thinking better of it. After gasping for breath, the orange-haired boy uttered a exasperated "Thanks" and shoved the container into pink-haired man's hands. Zesper raised an eyebrow when he looked inside the jar, only to find it empty. "My god, how did he do that...?" He thought to himself, quite surprised. But when he looked up, he saw the bandit tumble to the ground in the middle of the hallway. Placing the jar on the ground in the doorway, Zesper hurried over to the bandit's side to see what was amiss. Once he was close, he say what ailed the boy. Judging by the bandages across his body, especially around his legs, the bandit had trouble walking and must of fallen over. Zesper rolled his eyes before sticking out his hand, silently offering to help Nechis up.
