In the ruckus she has been coaxing power between her palms. A frantic gesture to meet with the frantic situation. A sphere churned on its side, composed of almost transparent radiating magick. Within the entrapping aura lied a growing bulb, a ripple in the air. A tear in this reality that left an opening into another. So quickly conceived and so unstable, it would be foolish to keep it growing long. "Off of him!" In desperation Tara pulled her palms apart and broke the surrounding sphere. The bulb within burst into the familiar slithering snake-like nether worms. A dozen or so aiming straight for the limbs of Tekun's assaulter, flowing through the air like they would water. It may not be incredibly lethal but it may just free Tekun of his grip.

OOC: I hope to be making a debut soon.

Nechis had taken in his surroundings by this time. His eyes surveyed the area whey were in, and he was not pleased with what he observed. It appeared that everyone around had begun to bicker with the obviously insane man in the center. Suddenly, the man rushed and grabbed onto Tania, brandishing a pan of some sort. Nechis made a run to help, but Tekun beat him to it, reaching the two and had begun to pull her off. He got his axe out, knowing that while at this point he couldn't even approach the man in the middle, it was too chaotic, he would help when a spot cleared up. The man stood, ready, peering in the chaos for a open spot where he could reach the man easily. He swung his axe arm back and forth anxiously.

"Who is this man, and why is he attacking the others?" The question raced through his head, and he realized it didn't matter. The others needed his help, which was most important. His movements slowly change to an ever-growing anxious fritter. Just when he could no longer stand the sight of his friends being hurt, there it was. The insane man, seemingly foaming at the mouth, had backed off a little bit. Tekun was in obviously bad shape. He rushed ahead, about to swing with the blunt side of his axe, when suddenly, worms began to surround him, although they just passed by his feet. They seemed to be aiming for something else. There were about a dozen, and they seemed bent on getting to Tekun's assaulter.

Nechis figured he could use an ally. He allowed them to go ahead of him, then, while they were close, the young man rushed ahead and was soon before the other man. He wished not to give the assaulter a chance to maim him, so he took the first strike without hesitation. He wrapped his other hand around the slick handle of the hatchet, and his axe swung with a mind of its own, at as high of a speed as his arms would allow. The blunt of the weapon was heading right for the other man's right side. Nechis smiled, believing that it was his turn to shine. He stood and watched the creatures take effect. He was quite unsure of what effect they would have, but he knew if they were cast by Tara, they were probably beneficial.

Gabriel screamed in shock and tried to knock away the shadows, but only felt pain as his hand collided with the tendrils. He didn't know how to defend against magic... In a split second his anger was gone and replaced with childish fright and regret. He would have stopped if a tendril of void hadn't stuck his chest and knocked him to the ground, where he squirmed and tore at his shirt. He tried to kick Nechis or Tekun but missed, and realized he was trapped and began to slow down the fidgeting. "I- I didn't... I duh-didn't..." His eyes swelled up as he tried to speak.

Rana starred dully at Gabriel and the others. He was glad they hadn't killed the man, and if they tried to he would stop them. He wavered on his feet, spacing himself out again. It had stunned him, the way Tana used void magic. It was so different than his own; she had torn open reality -as did most shamans and druids. But perhaps, he thought, the same hole was inside of him all the time. Perhaps that was what made him unstable, and what made him a link between the void and his own world. Perhaps that was why he could feel everything; it was all, in some way, pushing to get inside of him. To reach the emptiness and nothingness that flowed through his body.

Barbas gritted his teeth, as he turned around. His arms were stretched out, as if he were to fire an arrow at Julius or Charisma. "You are in no position to be shouting." He spoke. Charisma quickly took out her book, going through the pages before stopping and looking down into her hand.

"Relax." Barbas smirked as he lowered his arms once more and cracked his neck. "You'll die soon, no reason for me to kill you. It would be a waste of an arrow." He gave a forced laugh at the two, before turning around once more and heading into the village.

Charisma's face was distressed, but she stood there with her book, not taking her eyes off of Barbas. Once Barbas had entered the village, she turned her attention to Julius, helping him up. "Are you OK?" She asked, a look of sorrow on her face.

OOC: I am so tempted to just start posting right now.

Julius looked at Charisma and then where Barbas had entered. He sighed.

"I'm just glad your alright." He said "I don't want to go through that again." He tried to get up but found he couldn't.

"Think you could help me up?" He said as he looked back at her. He completely ignored Barbas, it was clear he was not the man he thought he was.

Tekun lowered his weapon.

"Tara, stop." Tekun said catching his breath. "It's enough."


Eton stopped looking and sat next to Serene.

"God damn it! This is a headache." He muttered. "Why would he leave like that. come to think of it, he's been acting funny since....hmmm I wonder..."

OOC: The group Tekun is in found Rana in the horizon village and had a fight with Gabriel, basically the village is in ruins, the other was decimated by hellspawn, Barbas is enterign and Julius and Charisma are outside, Julius is injured yet though. Good? Also, you may make an entrance

Alice staggered within a few meters of where Julius and Charisma were, with her blindfold on, she was initially unaware of everyone there. Though, as soon as their conversation came into earshot of her, she quickly gave in to her antisocial persona and pulled her blindfold back to widen its pores, letting her see the environment. Immediately after scanning her surroundings, she made a quick dash behind an object(Don't know what's there) while minding her steps to avoid any objects like twigs or rocks on the floor.

Afterward, she pulled on her blindfold again, focusing on being attentive and analyzing what was happening, though she was not expecting anything. However, the scenery was unique enough to keep her there, waiting for something to happen, truthfully, she did not know what she was doing or if anything would come out of this. Being that it was outside a village of some sort, she tried to peer inside, in vain-mostly due to her impaired vision and distance away from the entrance.

Barbas entered the village, there was alot of ruckuss going on around the corner, whatever was attacking the village was here yet and then there was silence. Bodies littered the streets, the buildings were relatively intact.

Julius got to his feet.

"You may need to help me along. I'm sorry." He said, beign held up by Charisma.

(ignore the help me up part of my post Belth, also none really, its a mountainous area btw)

Tara had a slight blush in her cheeks, maybe she had gone slightly overboard with her spontaneous use of magic. Quickly she moved on. "Are you alright?.." She asked of Tekun, Remnants of the summoned aura still vaguely wafted around her, before disappearing into the atmosphere. She would walk over to him, running her eyes over his form, He had been roughed up a little, but seemed fine enough..at least she thought so. Her gaze then wandered over to Gabriel; she didn't intend on doing anything more, but kept herself cautious with this man..
