It'll be interesting to see where they go with it. After the blunder they made with Vista (it had to many default processes; the main reason for eating up RAM) I want to see if they can fix it, or if they just make it worse >_<.

It apparently it only needs 1GH to run. IIRC, that's less then Vista?

Vista needed 1GHz as well.

I got Windows 7 on my laptop.
According to some: XP > 7 > Vista

I installed Windows 7 on my newly built computer, and so far it's been great. 7 does a lot better job with drivers and stopping programs that are stalling the XP. The Taskbar and Start Menu is a little disorienting at first, but I got used to it eventually. Any game I've tried has worked so far on it (Red Faction: Guerrilla, COD4, HL2). No complaints here.

When do you think a surge of viruses will be hit Windows 7?

Probably a month or so after it's been released everywhere.

That's probably being optimistic. People most definitely have trawled over the RC for exploits. I can't imagine there not being viruses for the OS already.

Heh. People are already contributing to that surge. My virus protection already caught one a couple days ago... :ko:

We all know Vista using IE as your browser is the best.

Any song or poem requests? I write them for free and have many of them. Give me a PM if you need help with anything.

Sadly yes, that's what I'm running because all of my cookies are already on IE and I'm not going back... those games took me hours...
