I think it's possible that the problem is caused by the site you upload the image. Photobucket causes this problem,while imageshack and imgur don't.(MAYBE,correct me if im wrong)

I think it's because that was a GIF that you quoted. I say this because you later quoted an image of mine in that topic that wasn't a GIF and it was quoted just fine.
Nothing wrong with Photobucket, yo. haha

I think this happens because the quote box doesn't know which image to pick from the GIF when it's quoted, so it decides to just display it in URL form.
