But Dante? I understand that Dante is in due to the Devil may cry franchise being mostly on Playstation but dear god.. Out of all the versions hes ever been... Why the brand new goth boy version? And Raiden?! Shouldn't it have been Solid snake or Grey fox!? Seriously... This needs some freaking explanation.. |

I wonder that too, and also why they even went and changed his appearance at all. That doesnt even look like Dante anymore. I mean i know they did the same sort of thing with Crash Bandicoot, but at least he still looks like Crash, just with a new style. Dingding. That's also why we have f*** YOU over Dante. If the Lightning part ends up true, it's why we have her over Cloud. I'd say they did intend to have a game that paid tribute to PS history - Dante, Snake and Cloud certainly qualify - but developer meddling cut it down to "PS history plus promotions" Which really f***' sucks. |

But Cloud has more original techniques and movesets. Lightning has very little. But I'm pretty sure they could implement alot for her she is more versatile. I mean her sword is a gun. |

I don't personally have an opinion on either one, I haven't played either game.
But you can't argue that Cloud is much more iconic to the Playstation brand. |

Isn't MGR: Reveangence considered a seperate IP from Metal Gear Solid? If that was the case then, Solid Snake or Big Boss/Naked Snake could still have a possibility.
