Every 5 seconds, the main gun of an Everest class I am unable to control my character for 5-20 seconds. It is unplayable.

Other than early on, if he isn't fed, I don't really see a problem with him unless he ults someone, and then he's probably as dead unless they have more team disrupters like Singed or something.
It would really depend, I mean, there's not much of a point in going AD if they're all beefy tanks with armor, or AP if they go MR. Going AP does increase your effectiveness with Death Lotus if you take the staff with the built in slow (extra health helps too), and maybe the ring works too while using it; would be useful since she'll be focused on if she goes in the middle of the enemy team.

I felt sorry for the enemy team in my last game, they took everything, even the nexus turrets, and yet, we kept on defending for an hour and made a comeback after a ace, rushing mid.

Poppy can mess up carries, Sion is a b**** to fight against, seeing as he can stun your a** (that in itself hurts, more if you're AP), and Eve isn't good for higher levels of play, but she's getting a rework soon.
Not sure what 1350 heroes you have, but Nasus and Amumu are great, and Ann is the easiest and one of the stronger casters.

How about Janna? She's a great support (though a horrible voice).
EDIT: Wow, so little was done this patch other than a new champ, small nerfs to Garen, Kog'Maw, Vlad, and Amumu, and a small buff to Sivir and the Manamune.
