I mean the video's not great but look, you know why I f*** love Link to the Past and have never been able to finish Ocarina?

LttP is f***' fast and smooth as s*** and a ton of fun. Ocarina's slow as f***. You gotta walk through this giant empty field all the time at a snail's pace. If you don't have the song you gotta wait for the sun to come up to enter the town. You gotta sit around and wait for the enemies to attack. You gotta go through all this f***' dialog cutscene s***. The obnoxious chest animations (and they are obnoxious) are only a small part of that
If you came to tell me that some of those things are fixed later in the game, don't bother my dude. It doesn't make the early game any less tedious

I'm not gonna say Egoraptor is somehow not an idiot but most of what he says in that video (and Mega Man) is valid

Guys, the voice over might not have been part of the game but actually part of the trailer. I heard sometimes that happens.

there was a time when he was entertaining and, in the case of sequelitis, informative

but now he just uploads a s*** ton of game grumps let's plays every day, which has the double effect of making his content damn near insufferable and exposing how little he actually knows about games

i'm still gonna say that mmx sequelitis and metal gear awesome are Classics of Internet but that sure as s*** don't make me a fan of their creator

On Egoraptor: you only need to watch that one episode of Game Grumps where Arin argues with Jon over why all big modern games are s*** because their budgets are too big and then proceeds to say "I wish big companies would give indie devs more money" to know why he's retarded. Jon brings up Metal Gear Solid as an example against it and Arin pretty much just says "THAT'S DIFFERENT"

On new Zelda: I didn't really have any expectations for it at all but with the gameplay shown I'm really excited. Even if the game ends up not being that great I like that they're trying something new with it. Weapons being able to break seems odd though. I wonder if you can get completely disarmed and just have to run around until you find another one.

if you can punch enemies i see no reason to have a weapon

obviously having a weapon would do more damage and you'd have more range to your attacks

resource gathering and cooking+crafting styled stuff is definitely the weakest looking part of the game but other than that im extremely keen
