So discriminating... you do know I'm literally the only west coast streamer. So much for getting involved with this at all.

That's the reason why I said "East Coast". :wee:
If you're hyped to stream this entirely you will. (Unless we get a East Coast streamer as good as you)
Or Jammy.

Alternatively, you guys could just play out the whole thing, save each replay, remain COMPLETELY SILENT about the outcome, and then at some predetermined time one of the streamers collects all of the matches and streams the replays as if the tournament was happening.

Might be hard tho lol

I have been streaming a lot this year, and I'm WC (of Canada :wee:), so you aren't the only one. But I can't stream any of this because I never stream at my own house and I don't have the time to stream this either lol

That sounds near impossible.

Meh , someone just compiles all of the matches of the crew battle and cuts the "Sucessfully loaded replay" , the moment where the remaining player SD's and the victory scene of each game.
1 - He uploads it on YouTube
2 - He sends it to a streamer who'll watch it like it was live.

ez money

EDIT ; the only thing we need is NO SNITCHING.

I thought about that today actually lol. But in all honesty with the current US/EU crew members, that would be pretty much impossible. There's going to be "at least" one person all bubbly and cheerful about having info the vast viewers don't and spilling leaks as the stream goes on (or even leaking results on the irc which makes the info public.) As if that didn't kill this idea enough there's the inbetween match times as well, how would you pull that off with a realistic believable time? And the SSF2 players (casual or "pro") who might notice things or ask questions like, "How are you streaming with only two people in the room." And finally the morality of should we "fool" the audience into thinking it's live which falls just barely below lip singing a live performance.

Although it honestly does intrigue me to get something like that working, it's just not possible by default by player leaks. Most of the players are pretty cool, but unfortunately some of these guys are leaning towards unreliable when it comes to secrets. Besides, posting it on a public board with various people watching and reading it is no way to discuss it. lol

the best way to handle the streaming might be to do it almost live, where the game are casted from replay but you start 10ish minutes after the first game ends. That way people only have to keep their mouths shut about results for a few minutes and the chances of spoilers are pretty minimal.

I'm with that idea. I'd just like to let the casters know to be prepared with fillers since it could take up to 10 minutes to start a match (Coaches deciding who to send in, stage strikes, players present, "coaching?") then the additional 5+ minutes of the match which is character/lag dependent. I'd really hope Void could commentate that day as well as SS (syncing the times they watch replays and communicate with each other through Skype.) We could perhaps provide some background knowledge for you on the various players to enrich the commentary, SS knows most of the players a little but zero about a few others.

This is sounding better by the second.
