There's a bit of a pattern of me doing anything, then everybody calling me scum for it. I thought it would end up like this: "Ramsey is town, trust my night actions!" "Obvious scum buddies, lynch both of them!" Also, a scum could have that power, too, to revive their dead buddies.

In a setup like this, it would work, since nobody would know who was scum (That died overnight, that is) until twilight. What I'm trying to get at is that most powers could have a scum use, too.
