I noticed this tends to happen to me when i exit out of the waiting room after picking a stage.

yeah, sometimes, if a cpu is in a final form, Ex. (Megamans FS), and you are standing far away from them, they just will stand in one place until you finally decide to move to them , they wont attack or anything. ( i consider this a bug since its a level 9 cpu).


P.S. I've noticed that its not just final forms, it occurs randomly where a cpu will just have a..... *brainfart, i guess*

2. Fox will be "auto-shooting" lasers constantly throughout the entirety of the match though he won't actually be using his gun. The lasers will be constantly spawning and "shooting from Fox" though they will not be making any noise. However, they do normal damage on opponents and their shields.
3. Though the laser shooting doesn't show Fox shooting his gun, it will still "cancel" any special moves he does with his normal stance. This allows him to shoot double the amount of lasers in the normal amount of time due to him standing. It also prevents him from using his recovery since it gets interrupted with the glitch lasers.
4. Replays do not capture the glitch. It shows the Fox looking like an idiot and getting wrecked from the other player.

Rare Side Effects:
1. Client-sided infinite stocks for Fox.
2. Invisible damage counter for Fox.
3. Camera-bugs. It zoomed into the other player and it locked that way.
4. Fox turned invisible permanently during a match. They could still see me, I believe.

^ That is very similar to my Fox glitch. I hosted as well. Did you do something at the beginning of the match?

doesn't work. you're doing something in a match/during waiting room and it's messing up all matches until you reboot the entire game, and you need to figure out what that is. your entrance animation is being cancelled and i suspect that this is what happens when you don't stay still in waiting room.


Sorry for the very late reply.
Seeing as this bug can happen with any character with a projectile special, I would assume that it could be the use of a special in the waiting room. I would advise testing special button inputs and have them interrupted by the game starting. If that doesn't work, then try being in air or in the middle of a Firefox.

Maybe a move that has a long end lag such as a neutral air causes this. The move must have a timer of when it will cancel itself, and the game starts before this timer is up. Since the timer isn't dropped from memory (as I would imagine), it could be canceling the "freezing" during the countdown and allow the player to perform things that they are not supposed to do.

I tested just about every projectile in the game, and i kinda figured some probably werent meant to be reflected but here goes


Goku's Kamehameha (dont know if its supposed to or even should so eh)
Goku's Side b energy blasts (both of them regardless of if they make contact with each other)
SS Goku kamehaha
SS Goku's dragon beam thing side b
Naruto Side B is wierd, the shadow clone is knocked back but it doesnt seem to have a hitbox and kicks as soon as it makes contact with shield regardless of powershield
(Naruto's fully charged neutral b does reflect but it seems to snap quite a bit)
Chibi Robo nuetral b
Unreflectable projectiles returning from Chibi Robo's Down b
Yoshi's eggs
Odd case - Black Mage full f smash does reflect, but the animation/hitboxes seem to reset on reflect. It still functional and does do damage to the original user tho
Shiek's needle (as in singular needle)
Oddcase - Peach's turnip reflects but the trajectory is no different than a standard shield
Ness's PK fire
Ness's PK Thunder (hilariously, pk flash DOES reflect)
Fox's Laser
Fox's Landmaster shot
Pika's Thunderbolt
Pika's Thunder (disapears on contact with a powershield)
Megaman's Red missle (still sticks too)
Not only is Megaman's uair not powershieldable, it isnt even blockable (at least before it splits)
Oh god can the boomerang not do the gale trajectory change after youve powershielded it, instead ignoring gale and just reverse trajectory boomerang. Its basically useless powershielding boomerang and gave me another reason to hate that move
Link's bombs not only cant be powershielded, they'll still damage you through shield when you pull it off

When Samus does her jab, you can keep on holding the button and she will repeatedly do her jab combo.

I'm having trouble with SSF2v0.9b1748. I think I might have busted it. I don't have a replay of what happened but I have a Screenshot of what is happening now. I tried to reinstall it and it didn't work. It was working fine before and now it isn't loading. The Executable comes up, says it's loading and then freezes here.

However SSF2v1.9 loads up just fine. I don't know what's wrong and I hope this helps.
